Joe Biden and his Democrat friends may want to push “vaccine passports,” which give special privileges to those who get the COVID-19 vaccine while treating those who can’t for health, religious, or other personal reasons as second-class citizens.
Recently, Biden and Democrats have been pushing “vaccine passport” programs, which encourage businesses to discriminate against those who are not vaccinated while giving discounts, special privileges, and more to those who are. While Biden has shied away from a vaccine passport program at the federal level, this dangerous idea of “second-classing” citizens who make their own decisions has the potential to do a lot of damage. Some states, including Wyoming, are doing something about it.
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon recently signed a directive banning such discriminatory practices in his state because, as he says, vaccines are a “personal choice, based upon personal circumstances.”
“Vaccine passport programs have the potential to politicize a decision that should not be politicized,” Gordon said in a statement. “They would divide our citizens at a time when unity in fighting the virus is essential, and harm those who are medically unable to receive the vaccine.” The order tells everyone from private businesses to local governments that it’s not OK to discriminate based on vaccine status and that full services must be offered to all.
Wyoming joins Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Texas, South Carolina, and South Dakota in taking steps to protect citizens from dangerous and discriminatory vaccine passport requirements that ignore personal choice.
“My body my choice” is a phrase the Left likes to throw around. But for some reason, they don’t like it when it applies to anything other than abortion.
