Texas Celebrates ‘Zero Death’ COVID Milestone Despite Ditching Masks, Biden FURIOUS

Democrat-run states are struggling to keep numbers down despite their refusal to reopen, but Texas has been open for months. According to Joe Biden and the Democrats, this should mean soaring numbers and deaths at a scale our country has never seen. Instead, Texas just reported that on Sunday, there wasn’t a single death.

Fox News says that the Lone Star State only reported 388 new cases on Sunday as well as zero deaths. This was not only the lowest number of new cases in over 13 months, but the state also enjoyed the lowest 7-day positive rate since the pandemic began, the lowest COVID hospitalization rate in 11 months, and a whole lot of positivity for the concept of opening back up and getting back to our normal lives:

Biden is naturally furious, as he had quite a lot to say about Texans’ “neanderthalic thinking” when the Lone Star State ditched masks back in March.

“I think it’s a big mistake,” Biden said at the time. “Look, I hope everybody’s realized by now, these masks make a difference. We are on the cusp of being able to fundamentally change the nature of this disease because of the way in which we’re able to get vaccines in people’s arms.”

Apparently, the masks didn’t make as much of a difference as he thought. The CDC has recently revised guidelines, allowing fully vaccinated Americans to skip social distancing almost completely, not wear masks, and more. But Texas’ innovative thinking might prove all the people who say we need masks and distancing and poverty and closed businesses…wrong.
