Nancy Pelosi loves to accuse conservatives of being racist. It’s seemingly every other sentence out of her mouth. She has painted us as effectively some weird Nazi/KKK hybrid that wants to simultaneously bring back slavery and murder all black people. But how can she say anything when she thinks all black people look alike?

In a weird attempt to honor baseball legend Willie Mays. Pelosi tweeted a photo along with a caption. “Happy 90th Birthday to an all-American icon, Willie Mays. A trailblazing, record-breaking baseball player, civil rights leader, and champion for youth sports and well-being, Willie Mays is a civic legend and national treasure. #SayHey90,” Pelosi said. She was in fact posing with a baseball player, and he was certainly black. In fact, his name was even “Willie.” It just wasn’t the man she was trying to gain clout by pretending to care about. The man in the photo was Willie McCovey.

Naturally, she blamed in on a staffer. Pelosi’s office told KCBS Radio:

“A staffer inadvertently selected the wrong photo for the tweet. The photo we wanted to use was of the Speaker and Willie Mays at Willie McCovey’s August 2018 wedding. The quickly deleted photo was the wrong photo from the right wedding. We apologize for the error.”

Eventually, Pelosi tweeted a photo showing her posing next to the correct black baseball player named Willie:

Willie Mays is a living legend, one of the true greats baseball has ever produced. On top of that, he has repeatedly shown himself to be a truly decent human being. A human being worthy of the simple, basic respect of being correctly identified by someone who wants to use him and his skin color to gain political clout.
