West Virginia isn’t messing around when it comes to Joe Biden’s crazy gun control agenda. On Thursday, the crazy old man currently occupying the Oval Office issued a series of decrees that attempt to limit the rights of gun owners in America. But Wet Virginia isn’t taking this lying down.
Arizona, Texas, and other states have stepped up to challenge Biden’s executive orders. Now, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrissey says that protecting the Second Amendment from Joe Biden is a major priority in the state.
The Attorney General has some harsh words for Biden and Democrats:
“Defending the Second Amendment remains one of the most important priorities for the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office. I will not allow the far left to run roughshod over our citizens’ gun rights. If President Biden follows through on his proposals, we will be in court very quickly.”
“Gun violence and the senseless death attributed to it should pain all Americans, however, the evil acts of a select few should never be a catalyst for stripping the lawful masses of their constitutional rights, especially their right to self-defense and to bear arms.”
Unlike Morrissey, unfortunately, Democrat Senator Joe Manchin says he fully supports gun control measures following the Capitol incident on January 6. This, of course, is a major blow to those who heaped praise on him for supporting the filibuster.
Democrats are scrambling to take advantage of their majorities in the Senate, House, and the presidency to revoke as much of the Second Amendment as possible while they are in office. But Americans aren’t taking this lying down and will continue to fight against Democrats’ fascist policies. But opposition doesn’t mean we’re safe. As Joe Biden says, “no Amendment [to the Constitution] is absolute.”
