Sen Lindsey Graham

(RepublicanWire.org) – Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S. C., slammed President Biden’s “weak” handling of escalating tensions with China on “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade.”

Graham said, “Why does Taiwan matter? Ninety percent of the high-end chip manufacturing in the world is done in Taiwan. The last thing you want China to do is to take over Taiwan, have a monopoly in the 21st century chip market. So here’s the deal.”

“China is flexing their muscles because Biden’s administration is dumb and weak. Every time Putin threatened Ukraine, we got weak. Instead of imposing sanctions when he built up his army on the border, we didn’t want to provoke him. Instead of flowing in weapons to the Ukraine before the invasion, we didn’t want to provoke Putin. So what are we doing in Taiwan? I have legislation with Bob Menendez, a Democrat, the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, to give more economic aid to Taiwan, more military assistance to Taiwan. And the administration, the Biden administration is working to kill the bill,” Graham continued.

(RepublicanWire.org) – During an interview with MSNBC Wednesday morning, DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison had a meltdown over Republican Senator Tom Cotton’s decision to vote against Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

When asked about Cotton’s opposition to Jackson’s nomination, Harrison launched into a tirade, and said Cotton is a man “infested with maggots.”

During Jackson’s confirmation hearings in March, Cotton pressed her on a number of topics related to her judicial philosophy and record as a judge. On the Senate floor Tuesday, he explained why he plans to vote against her nomination.

Cotton joins Senators Lindsey Graham and Mike Lee in their opposition.

Republican Senators Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins have announced they will vote in favor of Jackson’s nomination.
