(RepublicanWire.org) – There’s no reason to worry about COVID anymore, according to Jennifer Rubin (Washington Post columnist) . She told Americans to “stop agonizing” over Covid 19 cases. Her comments have left people asking why she now has suddenly changed her opinion. Some of her critics have even labeled her a hypocrite. This is because she has blamed former President Trump for the pandemic whenever she has had the chance. However, she had a sudden change of heart when it came to the Biden administration struggles to control the growing omicron surge.
Outkick founder Clay Travis responded to Rubin by saying, “Now that Joe Biden is about to have an all time covid case high set one year into his administration his allies are suddenly arguing cases don’t matter and it’s time to get back to normal for most people. Anyone with a functional brain has been arguing this since last summer.”
Travis wasn’t alone. Many went to twitter to relay the same message to Rubin.
These tweets are in response to Rubin’s tweet which said, “As we recognize that covid-19 is not a deadly or even severe disease for the vast majority of responsible Americans, we can stop agonizing over ‘cases’ and focus on those who are hospitalized or at risk of dying.”
Until recently Rubin was very concerned with Covid 19, just last year she went as far as blaming Trump for the 200,000 deaths while he was in office. Yet, she hasn’t blamed Biden or his administration for their dismal attempts to get the virus under control.
