(RepublicanWire.org) – President Joe Biden hosted the National Governors Association Winter Meeting in the East Room of the White House Friday, and he- yet again- spoke without the authorization of his puppet masters in a rather embarrassing moment.

“Every time I hear ‘the President of the United States,’ I look around and say, ‘Where the hell is he?’” Biden said. The line apparently failed, as very few in the room laughed and some looked confused or concerned.

Biden is frequently mangling the English language, so jokes like these which imply he doesn’t even really feel like he’s the Commander in Chief, and the widespread belief is that his handlers, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, and Jill Biden are the ones actually running the country.

That conclusion is only strengthened when Biden admits he wanted to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon on a Wednesday but was instructed to postpone by the Pentagon, who finally blasted it out of the sky a few days later. Similarly, he’s frequently talked about not being “allowed” to do something, and his advisors won’t “let him” answer any more reporters’ questions.

Twitter users didn’t let that comment go, responding with zingers.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) could be gearing up for a 2024 Presidential bid.

Rubio finished third in the GOP’s Presidential primary in 2016, behind former President Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz (Texas).

All the signs point to a possible 2024 bid as Rubio prepares to release his third book, “Decades of Decadence,” on June 13, 2023.

In 2015, months before announcing his intention to seek the Presidency, Rubio released his first book “American Dreams.”

The timing of his third book — the second released in 2021 outside election season — points to jockeying for the GOP primary.

Despite the confirmation of the 272-page book’s release date and publisher (Broadside Books — a division of Harper Collins), nothing exists about the contents of the book.

However, a 2023 book release comes as little exists in the way of Rubio being considered a contender in the 2024 GOP Presidential primaries.

Among the list of possible contenders — Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, among others — Rubio’s name hasn’t featured.

According to reporting by The Hill, citing two “GOP operatives,” Rubio will likely avail himself for a Presidential race if the opportunity for a bid opened up.

However, another operative noted that Rubio would have lost plenty of the voter base he had in 2016.

The operative pointed to two of Rubio’s surrogates in 2016 — Haley and another potential 2024 contender Senator Tim Scott (S.C.) — fielding Presidential bids of their own.

But the operative pointed to Rubio’s record of wins, being a “great communicator and a very skilled candidate” as reasons Rubio could be viable.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, who in recent years has burnished his profile as a future White House contender, told President Joe Biden on election night that he was not planning a 2024 primary challenge, according to Politico’s Jonathan Martin.

Newsom “told everyone in the White House” ranging “from the chief of staff to the first lady” about his intentions, he revealed to Martin — and was firmly behind the president’s expected reelection bid.

During a trip to Washington, DC this past summer, he wanted Ron Klain and Jill Biden to know that he was “all in” for the president’s plans for 2024.

“I’m all in, count me in,” Newsom told the pair, per his conversation with Martin.

“He not only beat Trump once, I think he can beat him again,” the governor said of Biden. “I hope he runs, I’ll enthusiastically support him.”

Newsom, who was easily reelected to a second term as governor this month after winning his 2018 gubernatorial election in a landslide and also defeating a 2021 recall election attempt, has emerged on the national scene as a staunch promoter of the Democratic Party’s values.

This year, Newsom has encouraged Democrats to go bold in their agenda and more effectively communicate with voters about their policies, notably abortion rights. And he has publicly tussled with Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, who could potentially launch a 2024 presidential bid against former President Donald Trump.

But the high-profile nature of Newsom’s remarks led many to believe that he was plotting for a 2024 bid of his own, which frustrated him.

“It’s frustrating because I have so much reverence and respect for not only the president but the vice president is an old friend, for all of those interesting things you guys all love to write about, we’ve known each other for 25 years,” said Newsom, who also mentioned Vice President Kamala Harris, a former California state attorney general and US senator.

Newsom then said he wouldn’t run for president in 2024 even if Biden reverses course and opts out of a reelection bid, but the governor didn’t rule out a 2028 campaign, per the interview with Martin.

The California governor, one of the younger generation leaders within the Democratic Party, has not held back in critiquing the party, which is something that many progressives have been clamoring for — with many grassroots activists frustrated that the party’s leaders aren’t more frequently on the offensive against the GOP.

Newsom declared California “a true freedom state” while speaking with reporters, touting the Golden State compared to states that have passed a raft of abortion restrictions after Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court this past summer.

In the midterm elections, California voters overwhelmingly approved a ballot measure that amended the state constitution to guarantee reproductive freedom.

(RepublicanWire.org) – It is now 21 months into Joe Biden’s dumpster-fire presidency, and he continues his unbroken streak of committing cringeworthy blunders that call into question his mental fitness.

During a news conference at the White House on Wednesday, Biden defensively bristled while trying to dunk on a reporter who asked a question about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“You’ve seen the threats from President Putin about the use of his nuclear forces,” the reporter said.

A thin-skinned Biden interrupted the correspondent midsentence and suggested he was correct in escalating his fearmongering in response to speculation over whether Putin would resort to nuclear weapons.

In October, the 79-year-old career politician came under fire after suggesting the world is on the cusp of a nuclear Armageddon.

“Remember how you all went after him when I said that was real?” Biden said.

“I just — I just found it interesting that, ‘Biden is being apopa — acop — apoc — acopa — Biden is being extremist,’” he stammered while wincing visibly over his word salad.

It appears Biden was trying to say his critics had wrongfully accused him of being “apocalyptic.” Or maybe “apoplectic.” Who knows?

The GOP-affiliated Twitter account RNC Research asked: “What just happened?”

The bizarre sputtering ignited backlash on Twitter.

Ultimately, this endangers the national security of both the United States and the rest of the world.

At another point during the news conference, Biden affirmed that he plans to run for re-election in 2024 despite his tanking poll numbers.

The president underscored that “our intention is to run again. That’s been our intention, regardless of what the outcome of this election was … my intention is that I run again.”

He then raised eyebrows by saying he’ll do whatever it takes to prevent Donald Trump from winning the White House if the former president runs for re-election.

(RepublicanWire.org) – MSNBC host Katy Tur speculated on Wednesday that Pennsylvania Senator-Elect John Fetterman could run for the presidency someday.

Fetterman’s victory against Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz provided Democrats a flipped Senate seat on Tuesday, in which several MSNBC panelists praised him for bringing new leadership tactics to the Democratic Party.

Tur floated the viability of, “Fetterman, as a nominee at some point for president,” before later going on to say that his record for surpassing President Biden and former President Trump’s vote share in the state.

MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell declared that she had extensive experience with Pennsylvania, and praised Fetterman for making so much progress with voters.

“I spent a lot of time covering this race, and with Pennsylvania politics, going back some decades, and I started my career there, but the fact that John Fetterman did, first of all, so much better with White non-college-educated voters. Better than Biden, better than Trump, so he ran ahead of both of them, but he also, you know, did fairly well in the cities and in the unintelligible counties.”

She attributed multiple reasons for Fetterman’s victory, including merely being more palatable to many voters than his Republican opposition.

“I attribute that partly due to the extremism at the top of the ticket in Pennsylvania,” she said. “With Mastriano, Dr. Oz’s comments on abortion, which part of that debate that perhaps did not get as much attention, it got attention from the professionals, but not from a lot of the media, because that really was as big of a deal coming out of that debate as Fetterman’s performance.”

Fetterman was criticized in the final days of the campaign for his lack of transparency over his recovery from a stroke, inconsistent answers on issues like fracking and a widely panned debate performance last month.

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki praised Fetterman for appealing to voters through authenticity.

“I also think he ran everywhere in the state, which is a lesson for Democrats. He left no stone unturned. And he ran as exactly who he is. I mean I have no doubt that if John Fetterman were sitting here, if he were in a bar or if he was with his family in a restaurant, he would be exactly the same person,” she said. “And voters completely see through that. So that is also a lesson for Democrats, too. This is a guy you know who he is, you know what you’re getting, and that ultimately matters in politics.”

Tur went one step above praising his performance as a candidate for Senate, suggesting he could aim for the presidency but acknowledged there are “some variables.”

“I know there’s some variables, obviously, but I just, you know, what he did in the super-red, deep-red parts of Pennsylvania and the way that he ran ahead of Biden, ran ahead of Trump, and it makes you wonder about his future,” she said.

Fetterman, the 6-foot, 8-inch lieutenant governor and former mayor of tiny Braddock, Pennsylvania, eked out a narrow win over Oz despite a shocking performance in their only debate. Fetterman began the October 26 by telling viewers, “Goodnight, everybody,” and then proceeded to give a number of head-scratching answers that invited both pity and ridicule.

At one point, he was confronted with his past conflicting statements on fracking.

“I do support fracking — I don’t, I don’t — I support fracking, and I stand — and I do support fracking,” he stammered.

Speeches on the campaign trail have also included incomprehensible soundbites as Fetterman continues to rely on a closed captioning system to field and respond to questions.

“I think that anyone who ever plays football in high school was, you know, at kind of a trade out kind of football camp and there wasn’t any interest I have come play here,” he told a rally just prior to Election Day.

But Fetterman, who campaigned as a blue-collar everyman, typically donning baggy shorts and a hoodie on the trail, was an inspiration to many liberals, including Tur, for his effort to overcome the stroke, which occurred just days before he won the Keystone State’s Democratic primary.

(RepublicanWire.org) – President Joe Biden had another awkward moment during an interview that MSNBC aired Friday: “When asked if the first lady supports a 2024 run, Biden nodded and paused before providing a full answer. ‘My wife thinks that we’re doing something very important and that I shouldn’t walk away from it,’ he said.

In a conversation with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart about (ironically) his plans to run for a second term, Biden’s eyelids drooped and he started nodding off, creating an embarrassing pause. It prompted Capehart to smile awkwardly and say “Mr. President…” and then “ope!” as Biden’s eyes fluttered open.

It’s not the first time Biden has appeared to fall asleep in the course of his presidential duties.

During a climate summit in November 2021, Biden’s nap was so obvious even the corporate media couldn’t explain it away.

The Washington Post admitted that Biden “was the oldest person to be sworn into office and has faced questions from his own party about whether he should seek reelection, due partly to his age,” but then proceeded to explain why “the reemergence of former president Donald Trump” necessitated another Biden run.

In a curt summary of the exchange, NBC News reported that “Biden indicated first lady Jill Biden is supportive of a potential second term.” CNN and The New York Times offered similarly under-informative reports.

That’s quite the change of tune from the four years of the Trump presidency in which left-wing journalists invented opportunity after opportunity to cast doubt on that president’s mental dexterity.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Republicans are demanding access to communication records between President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and the Obama White House.

“The top Republican on the House Oversight Committee pressed Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen for information on the shady foreign dealings of first son Hunter Biden — accusing the White House of thwarting the panel’s probe in order to protect the president,” the New York Post reported.

“Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) claimed in a letter to Yellen that the Biden administration may be preventing the release of suspicious activity reports related to Hunter Biden. The reports, known as SARs, are generated by banks that flag suspiciously large transactions and are meant to guard against money laundering,” the outlet added.

“The Biden Administration is restricting Congress’ access to SARs, and Committee Republicans are investigating whether this change in longstanding policy is motivated by efforts to shield Hunter Biden and potentially President Biden from scrutiny,” Comer wrote. “Though the Committee requested documents and information ‘no later than June 8, 2022,’ the Department of the Treasury has provided no documents or information.”

Prior to that, several Republican members of the House Oversight Committee penned a letter and sent it to the Biden Administration demanding they be given access to any and all communication records between Hunter Biden and the Obama White House.

In the letter, the Republicans said that Hunter must be investigated amid concerns that “he is continuing to profit off” his father’s name.

“Hunter Biden’s connections throughout the Russian sphere of influence have now become especially relevant in the fast-moving and developing Russian war in Ukraine,” the Republicans on the House Oversight Committee said.

“Hunter Biden’s dealings have not gone unnoticed, and a Department of Justice (DOJ) probe begun under the Obama Administration has expanded to include a wide variety of potential violations and crimes. According to the New York Times, Hunter Biden is currently under investigation by the DOJ for possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and possible criminal tax evasion and money laundering.

“Given Hunter Biden’s foreign business relationships in Ukraine and Russia and the current international landscape, we are concerned about whether Hunter Biden continues to profit off his status as President Biden’s son as well as whether foreign adversaries may be attempting to exploit questionable business dealings. NARA may possess documents relevant to this investigation from then-Vice President Biden’s tenure,” they said.

The letter calls out Joe Biden and accuses him of lying about his involvement in Hunter’s business dealings. The lawmakers said that “the evidence is now clear” that he wasn’t just aware, he was likely involved.

“The Biden family has for decades profited from Joe Biden’s positions of public trust. Hunter Biden has particularly benefitted from his father’s success in politics, from managing a Ukrainian energy conglomerate to selling cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to connecting his father to Kazakhstani oil oligarchs, and preventing a Romanian real estate tycoon’s conviction for bribery charges,” they said.

Reporting of one of Biden family business venture during the time Joe Biden was vice president raises questions of whether or not Hunter was selling influence to the White House in order to obtain such a large amount of infused cash. Such complicated investment schemes are typically performed by experienced fund managers and with investors who feel comfortable with the fund managers’ experience and historic returns.

Hunter received a $3.5 million wire transfer in 2014, according to a 2020 report by Senate Republicans, who revealed her involvement with Hunter was “a financial relationship,” though no further explanation of the payment to Hunter was given.

Hunter’s real estate venture was occurring while Hunter sat on the board of Burisma and reportedly collected $80,000 a month, while Joe Biden was vice president. It was cut in half after Joe Biden left office.

(RepublicanWire.org) – On Friday, Bloomberg’s Jason Leopold reported that his five-year-old request for documents related to now-former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had come back with the unexpected inclusion of an interview Obama did with members of the press on Jan. 17, 2017, three days before Trump’s inauguration.

During the conversation that covered a range of topics, the president cautioned the reporters on how best to go after Trump because his being reelected would hamper the “norms” of Washington, D.C.

“I think four years is OK. Take on some water, but we can kind of bail fast enough to be OK. Eight years would be a problem,” he asserted. “I would be concerned about a sustained period in which some of these norms have broken down and started to corrode.”

“I think if you’re jumping after every insult or terrible thing or a bit of rudeness that he’s doing and just chasing that,” Obama advised. “I think there’s a little bit of a three-card Monte there that you have to be careful about. I think you have to focus on a couple of things that are really important and just stay on them and drive them home.”

Lacking self-awareness as progressives often do, the president also offered some telling remarks that apple to President Joe Biden’s administration as corporate media has joyfully returned to covering for every misstep and apparent wrongdoing stemming from the White House now that it is occupied by a Democrat again.

After his administration had been accused of using the IRS to target conservative organizations, Obama was reportedly worried about the potential politicization of agencies like the FBI saying their real power is scary if “it wants your stuff, and the Justice Department starts investigating you for long periods of time, even if you have nothing to hide.”

“I would be like white on rice on the Justice Department. I’d be paying a lot of attention to that. And if there is even a hint of politically motivated investigations, prosecutions, et cetera, I think you reporters have to be really on top of that.”

As it happened, the Justice Department was the ones who authorized the release of these documents to Leopold at the same time the Republican members of Congress are cracking down on the FBI for violating whistleblower protections as agents have come forward to expose improprieties within the organization, including allegedly violating procedure to make “domestic violent extremism” appear to be a large, nationwide problem.

Meanwhile, Obama’s take on foreign policy was also a foreshadowed shot against Biden as, lacking Trump’s strong presence on the world stage, Biden’s feeble response to threats has allowed Russia and China to thrive.

“Russia and China sit back and wait to see what kind of consensus we’re building globally, they see if sometimes they can make sure their equities are protected, but they don’t initiate. If we’re not there initiating ourselves, then everybody goes into their own sort of nationalist, mercantilist corners, and it will be a meaner, tougher world,” Obama said, “and the prospects that arise will be greater.”

(RepublicanWire.org) – A new poll shows who is in the running lead for the Democrat presidential candidate if now-president Joe Biden decides not to run again for re-election in 2024.

A NewsNation-Decision Desk HQ poll revealed that a mere 31 percent of Democrats would prefer vice president Kamala Harris to run in 2024 rather than Biden.

On the contrary, 17 percent of Democrat voters would choose Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif).

The poll also found that 30 percent of Democrats did not want Biden to run at all, while 61 percent of voters overall agree with Biden leaving the spotlight as well.

Other Democrat candidates included Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) with less than 10 percent and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) at a thin 13 percent support.

This comes after a CNN poll found that 75 percent of Democratic-leaning voters want Biden out of the Oval Office, with nearly half them having doubts that he would even have a chance of winning.

Democrats support for the president is quickly dwindling as Americans are getting tired of paying sky high prices for groceries and gas, while also having to see the leader of the U.S. not knowing where he is half the time.

This despite Biden repeatedly saying he will seek a second term. The almost 80 year-old has been an embarrassment and laughingstock for the country and the American people.

His border policies have driven thousands of illegal migrants into the U.S. along with a crippling economy that Republicans have declared a recession. A change is needed and according to polls, voters are ready for a new president.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Trump has been laying the groundwork for a 2024 campaign. He already has been hosting rallies across the country and announcing endorsements. Trump’s health and how the midterms elections play out are two key factors in a possible 2024 run.

People close to the former president revealed Trump is heavily leaning towards running again.

“If the Republicans take the House and the Senate, Donald Trump will run. If we take the House OR the Senate, Donald Trump will strongly consider running. If we take neither of them, he will not run,” a person familiar with Trump’s thinking said.

President Joe Biden is a key player in Trump’s 2024 plans.

“If Biden really does run again, Trump’s running without question,” a former senior Trump administration official said.

Trump is more likely to run if the current president continues on what’s viewed as a disastrous path.

“I think he’s [Trump] going to be looking to exploit a very unpopular president,” the person familiar with the Trump team’s thinking predicted.

“The nomination is his if he wants it,” a former Trump official suggested.

If Trump decides to run, there are reports that is he is considering New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik to be his vice presidential nominee.

“There is a part of Trump who thinks he needs a female VP. He definitely likes her, likely because of how effusive she is to him,” a Trump advisor told CNN.

“President Trump thinks very highly of Elise Stefanik,” Chris Ruddy, a longtime friend of Trump, told the outlet. “She has been talked about in circles close to him as a potential vice presidential.”

Stefanik is the third-ranking Republican in the House and chair of the House Republican. Stefanik  replaced Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney as the chair of the House Republican Conference after Cheney was voted out of the position.

Alex DeGrasse, a senior adviser to Stefanik said, “Congresswoman Stefanik is 100% focused on serving New York’s 21st Congressional District and as House Republican Conference Chair helping lead the efforts to take back the House in 2022 to fire Nancy Pelosi once and for all to save America.”

Time will tell who will run for the republican candidate in 2024. Others who are rumored to run are Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, as well as former Vice President Mike Pence.
