Secret Chinese-Controlled Police Station Gets Shut Down In NYC…

(RepublicanWire.org) – A confidential police station operating under the Chinese government in New York City got shut down by the FBI after several raids conducted during the last couple of months, as per a report released on Friday. 

The U.S. State Department official affirmed the closure: 

“The FBI has confirmed that the ‘overseas police station’ in New York linked to Fuzhou has closed. We continue to be concerned about PRC [People’s Republic of China] transnational repression efforts around the world and are also coordinating with allies and partners on this issue.”

The closure of the facility in New York’s Chinatown comes just weeks after The New York Times reported that FBI agents raided and searched the building at an undisclosed time last fall. The facility and more than 100 others like it form a network of covert facilities from which experts believe that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is conducting a campaign of transnational repression.

According to two reports published in October 2022 and December 2022 by Safeguard Defenders, a nonprofit organization, overseas police outposts are used to collect intelligence and even forcibly repatriate Chinese dissidents to the mainland to be imprisoned.

The State Department spokesperson said: 

“We are aware of reports regarding alleged PRC’s overseas police stations. We take this issue very seriously. Establishing so-called overseas police stations without the invitation or approval of the country in which they are operating raises serious issues of respect for the sovereignty of that country.”

Chinese authorities maintain that the facilities, which operate in 53 nations, assist Chinese immigrants in foreign nations with tasks that would normally be handled by a consulate, such as renewing driver’s licenses and visas. However, the stations have been linked to the CCP’s United Front Work Department, an agency that works to advance the regime’s interests abroad by spreading propaganda, conducting foreign influence operations, suppressing dissident movements, gathering intelligence, and facilitating the transfer of technology to communist China.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors called out President Joe Biden in an interview with the Guardian for failing the ‘movement that was able to help get him in office.’

She said, “It’s not just about LAPD or Memphis police. These aren’t individual bad officers. It’s a culture of violence that has been inherited, and it’s not going to stop until courageous elected officials make it stop. Media often asks me, ‘Why is this still happening – you’ve been protesting for decades?’ 

“I say we’ve been protesting for 400 years, but also this keeps happening because people in power are allowing it. Millions of people went to the streets in 2020. Thousands were in the streets in 2013 and 2014. “Every year, families, community members, organizers have said this must stop and there’s a different way to do this. 

“And yet there has been deep cowardice from officials. The burden is on the officials who create the budgets for the police and other resources, who turn away from the violence and continue it in their departments. It’s truly a failure of leadership at the highest level, all the way up to our president. 

“This movement was able to help get Joe Biden into office, and yet in his first State of the Union address, he yelled: “Fund the police.” 

“It’s a direct affront to the movement that called for resources out of policing and into social services. 

“Our elected officials have decided to abandon a movement that could have saved the lives of the people who have died.

“We have a powerful opportunity right now at the national, state and city levels to reevaluate law enforcement’s role in traffic stops. 

“We have to get cops out of traffic stops. It’s one, very reasonable demand. Tyre, my cousin, Sandra Bland are all examples of this.

“Law enforcement pulls people over for broken tail lights, for no registration, for running a red light, for all these low-level traffic violations.

“There’s research to back up the reasonableness of the demand to not allow police to be the ones who are stopping mostly Black people. Berkeley, Philadelphia and Seattle are piloting this. 

“Los Angeles has said it was too radical, and then my cousin was killed. We should also fund evaluations of these policies, so we can get the data and avoid backlash.

“I actually got a call from Pete Buttigieg. He said, “I just wanted to say I’m sorry,” and asked if there’s anything he could do. 

“I couldn’t really think about it then, but I’ve been thinking now about how he’s the secretary of transportation, and this is a powerful opportunity where he could be helping lead a conversation about what federal dollars could fund programs to remove law enforcement from traffic stops.

“The Memphis chief also eliminated the Scorpion unit, which was responsible for Tyre’s death. And many police departments have units like this that are given entirely too broad of a mandate with truly disastrous results for communities and taxpayers. 

“So we need to get rid of these units that create trauma and harm, and put that money back into communities,” she said.

Of Course, Biden Made It About Race…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Joe Biden has issued a statement bringing race into the killing of Tyre Nichols by five then-Memphis Police Officers, despite all of them being black.

Nichols, 29, died in the hospital three days after the brutal assault, which took place during a traffic stop on January 10.

In his statement, Biden said that he was “outraged and deeply pained” by the footage.

“Like so many, I was outraged and deeply pained to see the horrific video of the beating that resulted in Tyre Nichols’ death,” Biden said in a statement after the videos were released to the public. “It is yet another painful reminder of the profound fear and trauma, the pain, and the exhaustion that Black and Brown Americans experience every single day.”

Biden continued on to urge protesters not to “resort to violence or destruction.”

“My heart goes out to Tyre Nichols’ family and to Americans in Memphis and across the country who are grieving this tremendously painful loss,” Biden said. “The footage that was released this evening will leave people justifiably outraged. Those who seek justice should not to resort to violence or destruction. Violence is never acceptable; it is illegal and destructive. I join Mr. Nichols’ family in calling for peaceful protest.”

Biden has previously spoken to RowVaughn Wells and Rodney Wells, the parents of Nichols.

The parents of Nichols have called for people to protest peacefully, but as of 9 p.m. local time on Friday evening, things were already beginning to get rowdy.

The protests erupted around the country minutes after the footage was released.

All five former officers — Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Desmond Mills Jr., Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith — have already been arrested and charged with second-degree murder, among other charges.

Atlanta’s Mayor Takes Stand Against Antifa…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Atlanta erupted on Saturday night, with police arresting at least six people after a protest over the death of Manuel Esteban Paez Teran, 26, turned violent.

Teran, also known as “Tortuguita,” or “little turtle,” was killed by police on Wednesday after he allegedly ignored authorities and shot at state troopers on the grounds of the new Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, Fox News reports.

On Saturday night, Antifa brought violent protests to the Atlanta. These Antifa terrorists ignited flares and fireworks, set a police cruiser on fire, and vandalized businesses in downtown Atlanta.

Many of the protestors “don’t even live in Atlanta or in the state of Georgia,” said City of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. “And they don’t represent the voices of Atlanta.”

“And some of them were found with explosives on them,” he continued. “You heard that correctly. Explosives. And that has led to a police officer’s car being set on fire and other destruction has occurred.”

“Make no mistake about it,” the mayor said, “these individuals meant harm to people and property.”

Meanwhile, the media tried to pass the protest off as peaceful.

Just after 6 p.m., police said they set an Atlanta Police cruiser on fire, smashed the windows of a Wells Fargo bank and vandalized walls with anti-police graffiti in an area that is typically bustling with tourists.

Atlanta police arrested at least six people after the protest erupted into a night of chaos and violence.

“Atlanta is safe and our police officers have resolved the disruptions downtown from earlier in the evening,” City of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens said Saturday evening. 

“The City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Police Department will continue to protect the right to peaceful protest. We will not tolerate violence or property destruction,” the mayor added.

Thin Blue Line Flag Banned by LAPD…

(RepublicanWire.org) – The “thin blue Line” flag, a symbol of public support for police, has been banned from public areas within the Los Angeles Police Department after a complaint about the flag being displayed at a local police station.

The banner, a frequent target of progressives, had been displayed over the front desk of the Rampart Station when someone in the community complained about its presence, according to Fox News.

LAPD Chief Michel Moore told the outlet last week: “Yesterday, we received a community complaint of the presence of a Blue Line Flag” with “the view that it symbolized support for violent extremist views, such as those represented by the Proud Boys and others.”

Moore said he then “directed to have the item taken down from the public lobby,” and suggested that the flag be replaced with either a U.S. flag or memorials for fallen officers.

The “thin blue line” flag, Moore told Fox, has become a “divisive” symbol that represents extremist views to some people.

“It’s unfortunate that extremist groups have hijacked the use of the ‘Thin Blue Line Flag’ to symbolize their undemocratic, racist, and bigoted views. Flags serve as powerful symbols with specific meanings,” Moore said in a statement, according to KTTV.

However, he clarified that this is not his opinion of the flag. To him, it “presents the honor, valor, dedication, and sacrifice of law enforcement to protect our communities.”

“Tragically, that view is not universally held and others have been able to persuade the public it symbolizes racist, bigoted and oppressive values,” Moore said.

Los Angeles, like most major American cities, has seen its share of public protests that have turned violent in recent years, with many claiming the problem is law enforcement, not law breakers.

Moore added that the ban will not prevent employees and staff from hanging the “thin blue line” flag in their workspaces, lockers, and personal vehicles, just not in public lobbies.

“Given our lobbies should be places that people feel safe, free of political ideology, and welcoming, it remains our long-standing policy that only official items be displayed,” Moore said, according to KTTV.

However, the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL), a union representing close to 10,000 LAPD staff members, has condemned Moore’s decision as “political pandering.”

“It is difficult to express the level of utter disgust and disappointment with Chief Moore’s politically pandering directive to remove Thin Blue Line flags and memorials for fallen officers from all public areas within our police stations,” the Board of directors for the LAPPL said in a statement, Fox reported.

“This direction came as a result of complaints from anti-police, criminal apologists, and activists who hold too much sway over our city leaders and, unfortunately, our Chief,” the union said.

They called Moore’s decision a “disrespectful and defeatist kowtowing by our department leadership to groups that praise the killing of police officers and outright call for violence against those of us in uniform,” adding that they “have directly expressed our outrage to the Chief.”

Their statement continued, “Let’s all remember what the Thin Blue Line flag is and what it represents: ‘The Thin Blue Line flag features a black and white image of the American flag with the horizontal stripe beneath the field of white stars on the black background. The stars represent the citizenry who stand for justice and order. The darkness represents chaos and anarchy, and to many, a memorial to the law enforcement officers who have perished in the line of duty.’”

Democrat Congresswoman Makes Bold Move And Leaves Party..

Gabbard has been an outspoken critic of the Biden administration and their policies, and that comes from a place of dissapointment. She noted that Biden ran on a platform of unity, but instead of working toward that goal, he has demonized half the country and uses the government to target his political opponents.

Gabbard’s concerns with the party she has been with since she first ran for state legislative office in Hawaii were many. She took issue with the Democrat’s disregard for second amendment rights, for American’s right to religion, and their irresponsible push toward nuclear war with Russia. She said the Democrats are erasing women by pushing their policies that males who say they are women really are women, and encouraging parents to “affirm” a child’s gender identity, even to the point of sterilizing drugs and surgeries.

“President Biden and Democratic Party elites have pushed us to the precipice of nuclear war,” she said, “risking starting World War Three and destroying the world as we know it. This is the most urgent existential threat that we face. I ran for President in 2020. Because I knew that this is where we were headed. All the signs were there. I raised this issue every single day during the I can no longer run on the National Democratic those of you who may have come to a town hall and watching I’m sure you noticed, but the politicians and the media completely ignored it. They didn’t care then. And they don’t care now.”

Gabbard has criticized Vice President Kamala Harris as a hypocrite for her drug policies when she was attorney general of California. She said the Biden administration engages in “child abuse” when they push for medicalized gender transition of children, she slammed Biden for making “diversity hires” and nominations, and she decried the administration’s Disinformation Governance Board, which was intended to dispels what they termed online “misinformation.”

Democrats Exposed For Being Hypocrites…

Rep. Cori Bush poured tens of thousands of dollars more into private security during the first quarter of 2022, pushing her security bills to more than $300,000 as she continues calls to defund the police.

Army veteran Wesley Hunt, who is running for U.S. Congress in Texas, shared a link to the report and tweeted, “Hypocrite leftists like Cori Bush want police defunded while she spends hundreds of thousands of campaign dollars on private security.”

Then there is Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot. In 2020 Lightfoot called to cut $80 million from the city’s police budget, but at the same time recruited police officers for her own personal protection, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Lightfoot recruited and put together an additional 65 police officers, along with five sergeants and a lieutenant, for a special unit called the Government Security Detail.

Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara said Lightfoot’s protection comes at the cost of public safety, according to the Sun-Times.

“While murders are soaring, while districts are barebones for manpower, all that matters is protecting her castle,” Catanzara said.

There’s a real world out there and it’s sad to see a once-great city like Chicago sinking into the pits of crime. At least Lori Lightfoot has her own police force. But what about the rest of Chicago? Don’t they deserve protection, too?

Black Lives Matter Slams Biden…

On Wednesday, the official Twitter account of the “Black Lives Matter” movement berated President Joe Biden for statements he made about his support for keeping the police funded during his State of the Union address.

In his speech, Biden renounced the “Defund the Police” movement. A statement most Democrats applauded. Instead, the President touted “Proven strategies like community violence interruption, trusted messengers, breaking the cycle of violence and trauma, and giving young people some hope.”

Biden continued his emphatic support of the police, saying, “We should all agree the answer is not to defund the police, it’s to fund the police!”

During the applause Biden emphasized his stance, repeating calls to “Fund them” while adding, “Fund them with resources and training! Resources and training they need to protect our communities!”

The overall consensus surrounding the President’s comments on funding the police was welcoming. But, not everyone was pleased with the President’s announcement.

A day after Biden made his remarks, the official BLM Twitter account tweeted an image of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA.) frowning, referencing the image as the group’s point of view on Biden’s “the answer is not to defund the police, it’s to fund the police” statements.

Others were far harsher when expressing their displeasure regarding Biden’s remarks.

In a profanity-laden tweet, one Twitter user who described himself as a communist tweeted, “Fund the police? F*** you, Joe Biden. I f***ing hate this s***hole country.”

Another user shared their views about Biden’s disregard for Black people, despite the President having selected a Black woman for Supreme Court Justice.

“Love how Biden listed a bunch of bipartisan things he signed for many groups and then for black ppl was like, ‘F*** YOUR MARCHES, More money for the police! Suck it blacks!’ Real cool stuff.”

Los Angeles City Council candidate, Albert Corado, commented, “Dude says we need to fund the police. He’s an enemy of the people. Simple as that.”

However, the issue ― which is a sticking point in progressive circles ― isn’t popular among centrist Democrats, with many blaming the “Defund the Police” movement for losses in congressional and state races in the 2020 election.

The movement has also been called a “non-starter” in statements made by House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) on MSNBC. He also said the movement was a “chokehold around the Democratic party.”

[BREAKING] – Chicago Police Dispatcher Tells Mayor Lightfoot What We Are All Thinking…

(RepublicanWire.org) – A Chicago police dispatcher just slammed Mayor Lori Lightfoot for allowing his city to become a “death zone” because of understaffing and the lack of police in certain areas. 

Keith Thornton Jr. was once praised by Mayor Lightfoot for his quick thinking and heroic work while on the job. But recently he release a video condemning the mayor along with other city officials like the Superintendent of Police David Brown.

After describing areas of the city as “death zones,” he criticized the mayor for not caring about the police in her city. He said that she has failed to protect Chicago residents, especially those who live in the 16th district, also known as the Jefferson Park district.  

In the Facebook video, Thornton said, “Today we’re talking about the northwest side of Chicago, and this was brought to my attention by several of my officers who have texted me, ‘OK’ and said that they were scared. They’re tired of this nonsense. They have no backing and they’re scared of being out there by themselves, working in the 16th District. We’re talking about the 16th District.”

It was reported by CWBC Chicago that the Jefferson Park district was staffed by 268 officers when David Brown became the Superintendent of Police in April of 2020. But now there are just 229 police officers assigned to the same district, according to the Chicago Office of Inspector General.

Thornton said that the 16th District is so short-staffed right now that when you call 9-1-1, you do not get a quick response like other parts of the city. He said that officers are not coming to you because they can’t be assigned cars and there are just too few officers in those neighborhoods. 

“And I’m not talking about a dog running or barking or a car alarm going off or, ‘Hey, this guy’s parked in my handicapped spot. I’m talking about females being beaten. Shootings — a shooting came up a few days ago and we couldn’t even get a unit over there. A unit could not even get to that scene until 10 plus minutes later because there was no one,” he claimed.

This video from Thornton came on the same day that the Chicago Tribune reported an increase in violence in parts of the city that are known to be dangerous. The Tribune said that carjackings continued to increase in the city and that children, seniors, and transit workers found themselves to be victims even in areas not previously known for violence. 

There has been a review of the last two years that coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic. It reveals a significant increase in both homicides and shootings across the city. There is more than a 60% increase in both categories.

Thornton believes that Lightfoot simply doesn’t care about areas like the 16th district and that she only cares about herself. In fact, he said that the mayor not only doesn’t care about police officers, but she also doesn’t care about first responders and city workers. He said it doesn’t matter if you are white, black, Asian, Hispanic, straight, gay, Democrat, or Republican. “All that lady cares about is her f***ing self,” Thornton said. 

He closed his video saying that he prayed that she would watch it because she is a disgrace and he is tired of it. He added that the city is tied as well. Ironically, he also said that he knew the mayor didn’t like him, but that he loved the mayor. But he reiterated that he was tired of her and she was an absolute disgrace to everyone in the city.

Thornton challenged the people of his city to come together because the city was burning. His last words were that the city should come together because this is “bull s***. Good night.”

Portland Cops Are Resigning In Droves. Here’s What They Are Saying

Democrat policies related to Black Lives Matter riots all boil down to one thing: the problem must be ignored and talking about it makes you a racist. Since the summer, BLM and Antifa have done millions of dollars in damage to people and property, caused loss of life, and hurt their communities in untold ways. In larger cities like Portland, cops are fed up.

Portland played host to anarchist “autonomous zones,” numerous riots, destruction of businesses, harassment of citizens, and other things commonly associated with “peaceful” (read: “violent”) leftist “protests” (“read: “riots”). Since July 2020, 74 cops have dipped into retirement and 41 have resigned. What police are saying on their way out the door in exit interviews is something every liberal should hear, but none will listen to. In fact, 31 of the exit interviews were decidedly brutal. The Oregonian reports:

Nearly all of the 31 who filled out the forms wrote that they were dissatisfied with the bureau’s ability to respond to problems, and said they wouldn’t recommend the Portland Police Bureau job to family or friends. Some blamed their heavy workload or said they felt their efforts to solve crimes or protect the public were for naught.

“The community shows zero support. The city council are raging idiots, in addition to being stupid,” one detective writes in his exit interview. “Additionally, the mayor and council ignore actual facts on crime and policing in favor of radical leftist and anarchists fantasy.”

“The only differences between the Titanic and PPB?” the officer asks rhetorically. “Deck chairs and a band.”

Officers are continuing to flee the sinking ship. Two more are expected to resign by the end of April and another will retire.

Liberals love to push their crazy ideas that violence is OK as long as they support the cause, but their decisions are hurting very real people — especially those who put their lives on the line every single day to protect their communities, This is something we can expect to see in police departments nationwide if Joe Biden and the Democrats have their way.
