(RepublicanWire.org) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday insisted that Joe Biden isn’t “Afraid of anything” when asked by Fox News’ Peter Doocy why he’s “Afraid of China.”

Jean-Pierre also brought up Biden’s recent visit to Ukraine in an attempt to back up her assertion. After being called on by Jean-Pierre, Doocy asked, “Why is President Biden afraid of China?”

“The President is not afraid of China,” Jean-Pierre shot back as Doocy interjected “Well.” Jean-Pierre ignored him, however, and asked, “Did you see the President last week when we went to Ukraine, went to Kiev?”

Jean-Pierre continued, “Look, this is not a president that’s afraid of anything. It was a historic trip that many of you said was brave. So clearly, this is a president who is not afraid to go to a war zone. He’s not afraid to go there when there’s no military presence on the ground. So there’s nothing that this president fears.”

Doocy wasn’t convinced as he pointed out, “China flew a spy craft over the U.S., the president didn’t really do anything to China, and according to the FBI director, China may have created something that has killed more than 1.1 million people in this country and President Biden is not punishing them.”

Jean-Pierre collected her thoughts and told Doocy, “So you’re giving me two things here, so let’s take them in part.”

“As we talk about the China surveillance balloon, the president did take that down and he did it in a way that as it was on its path, we collected information from it, we protected our national security information on the ground, and we did it in a way that was smart, effective, and also protected the American people, that’s what the president is always going to put froth, is the safety of the American people,” Jean-Pierre insisted.

Jean-Pierre addressed the “COVID origins” question by telling Doocy that they were still working on collecting “the data” in order to “get to the bottom” of the situation.

(RepublicanWire.org) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wanted nothing to do with a question about whether President Joe Biden lied about his involvement with son Hunter Biden’s dubious business dealings.

The first press briefing of the year got off to a familiar start when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy grilled KJP about the border and then followed that up with a question about Republican oversight in the new Congress.

“With the new Republican majority coming in the House Oversight Committee is laying out their new investigations, and they claim to have evidence that Joe Biden lied to the American people about his involvement in his family’s business schemes,” Doocy said, before asking, “Did he?”

“So, look, I have said this before and I’ll say it again: House Republicans promised that fighting inflation during the midterms was going to be their number one priority,” Jean-Pierre replied. “That’s what they said was important to them, and that’s what they said that they wanted to do. But instead, what they’re doing is wanting to do an investigation on the president and his family.”

“That is their focus. They don’t want to focus on the American people and their family; they want to focus on political division. They want to focus on something that the American people do not want to see, as we saw from the midterm elections,” she continued. “Look, I’m not going to get into — you know, get into the specifics of any of the oversight here. We have a White House Counsel that’s going to — my colleagues who are going to deal with this. So I would point you to them.”

In effect, she dodged the question about whether Biden lied altogether. At the same time, evidence continues to grow suggesting that the president not only knew about Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine and China, among other places but was actively involved — a critical issue, if true, given that he is now the commander in chief of the most powerful nation on earth.

Jean-Pierre wrapped up her response with the gift Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel, R-Ky., gave Democrats, a joint appearance with Biden to tout the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passed last year.

“One more thing — I’ll point you to tomorrow,” she said, in reference to doing things that are important to Americans. “‘Tomorrow we’re going to see a trip, an event that’s going to be done in a bipartisan way.”

Suffice it to say, Jean-Pierre’s dodge didn’t go over well on social media. Here’s a quick sampling of responses from Twitter:

(RepublicanWire.org) – This guy might be the worst nightmare of Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Fox News journalist Peter Doocy had Jean-Pierre on her back foot in Wednesday’s White House news conference.

Doocy pointed out the White House’s hypocrisy in continuing to use Twitter after all but throwing shade at new CEO Elon Musk.

“When are you guys going to delete the White House Twitter account?” Doocy questioned Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre didn’t immediately answer, instead asking Doocy in turn why such a move would be appropriate for the Biden administration.

“You’re saying that you’re keeping an eye on Twitter because it might not be a suitable platform — so why use it?” Doocy retorted.

Jean-Pierre pushed back on the idea of the White House closing its Twitter account, instead merely restating President Joe Biden’s commitment to fighting “hate speech and misinformation” on social media.

Doocy is one of the only journalists who scrutinizes the Biden administration in White House media briefings, often stacked with establishment news reporters who treat Biden with kid gloves.

Biden himself has suggested that he would be keeping an eye on Twitter after Musk’s acquisition of the social media company.

Musk — who is no fan of Biden, despite voting for him in 2020 — would probably find Doocy’s line of questioning to be valid.

Perhaps it’s not impossible that Biden and the left will eventually opt out of using social media networks that aren’t censored and rigged to their advantage.

Under its previous ownership, Twitter discriminated against conservatives and advanced left-wing narratives.

On Friday, Musk released bombshell evidence to journalist Matt Taibbi exposing Twitter’s role in pro-Biden election interference in 2020.

Internal Twitter communications in the months preceding the election reveal the Biden campaign’s role in using Twitter’s censorship policies to its benefit.

Twitter’s pre-Musk senior executives played a key role in the suppression of the news about Hunter Biden’s laptop, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde leading the effort to shut down all content related to the (truthful) story.

(RepublicanWire.org) – On Thursday, as Biden was trying to head out to his helicopter to go to Pennsylvania to campaign for John Fetterman, he stopped to speak with reporters. However, one reporter put him on the spot, “John Fetterman’s gonna appear with you today in Pennsylvania, but there haven’t been that many candidates campaigning with you…,” an indisputable statement of fact.

While answering the question, the president seemed especially angry and aggressive. Biden interrupted her, and grabbed her, “That’s not true! There’ve been 15. COUNT KID, COUNT!”

Then Biden was then asked a question that related to abortion rights. Upon providing his nonsensical answer in which he referred to the now-overturned landmark Roe v. Wade case, Biden can be seen reaching out and grabbing the reporter’s arms saying, “It’s Roe v. Wade. Read it, man. You’ll get educated.”

One can only imagine the sheer outrage from the left if former President Donald Trump exhibited the same erratic behaviors, to the point where he grabbed and yanked reporters’ hands and arms.

President Biden has often appeared to be short-tempered and has snapped at a number of reporters and members of the general public throughout his 2020 campaign and during the first 20 months of his presidency.

On Wednesday, Biden delivered some remarks on his infrastructure law and its implementation. Doocy took the opportunity to get Biden on record, asking whether he had “abortion or inflation” at the top of his domestic agenda.

“Mr. President, could you help us out just really quick? What is your top domestic priority? Is it inflation or is it abortion?” Doocy asked, prompting the president to cock his brow, and slowly fiddle with a pen, eventually putting it in his pocket as other journalists shouted questions.

“Just hoping to clarify for midterm voters, top domestic issue: inflation or abortion?” Doocy reasserted. This is when Biden snapped.

“They’re all important. Unlike you, there’s no one thing. It crosses the board. Domestic — ask me about foreign policy too. There’s multiple, multiple, multiple issues, and they’re all important,” Biden sneered. “And so — and we ought to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. You know that old expression?”

The White House Press Association should be objecting to the way Biden treats reporters. This is getting out of control. Having a person in charge that acts like this is a danger to national security.

(RepublicanWire.org) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday dodged reporter’s questions.

First RealClearPolitics White House reporter Philip Wegmann asked two questions. Whether the president’s proposed codification of Roe would reverse individual states’ abortion restrictions implemented before the ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe. And then, whether the president would support any restrictions on abortion.

“What the president is going to do, and wants to do and believes in doing is codifying Roe,” Jean-Pierre answered. “He believes that is what was law of the land, a constitutional right for almost 50 years and he believes, in its specific provisions, was rightly decided. He has said this regularly, including right after Dobbs, and that has not changed.”

“Right, but that didn’t answer either question. First of all, there are individual state restrictions on abortion in the books currently around the country,” Wegmann responded. “Some of those existed before the Dobbs case, before the overturn of Roe. Would the president, with this bill to codify Roe — does he want that bill to go farther?”

“I just answered that question, he believes in Roe and how it stood before the Dobbs decision,” she answered. The 1973 Roe decision legalized abortion nationwide up until the point of fetal viability, around 22 weeks. States remained free to restrict the procedure beyond that point.

When Wegmann repeated his question about whether the president supports any restrictions, the press secretary encouraged him to read the Roe v. Wade decision to understand the president’s stance on abortion.

The president promised during a Tuesday address that he would enshrine the provisions of Roe v. Wade in federal law if the Democrats are able to keep control of the House and win a clear majority in the Senate in November’s the midterm elections.

“The first bill I will send to the Congress will be to codify Roe v. Wade. And when Congress passes it, I’ll sign it in January, 50 years after Roe was first decided the law of the land,” Biden said.

Then, Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked questions about the administration’s priorities.

Given that inflation and economic issues are top concerns for Americans, Doocy wondered why President Biden is leaning into abortion.

“What is President Biden’s top domestic priority now?  Is it inflation or is it abortion?” he asked.

Instead of offering a straightforward response, Jean-Pierre said both are important, clarifying that inflation is “his number-one economic priority.”

Doocy didn’t let up.

“You just said it’s ‘his number-one economic priority.’ We’ve heard the President say inflation is his top domestic priority, but now he’s saying, come next year, his first bill would be abortion related.  So is his number-one domestic priority abortion or is it inflation?”

The press secretary, in a roundabout answer, claimed Biden is “working on the economy every day,” which prompted another tough question from Doocy.

“So you said he’s been working on the economy every day for 19 months.  Now Bloomberg economists are forecasting a 100 percent chance of a recession.  So how is it that we can be barreling towards a recession and the economy is, as the President says, ‘strong as hell’?

“What we are seeing right now is the job market is strong, the labor force is strong.  And that is not what we see usually before — before a recession,” she replied. And a lot of that is because of the work that this President has done,” Jean-Pierre continued.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy pressed White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the raise in taxes in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.

Doocy asked Monday if President Joe Biden will rescind his support for the Inflation Reduction Act, a budget reconciliation bill proposed by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, given that Biden promised not to raise taxes on anyone making $400,000 a year.

The press secretary confirmed the president’s continuing support for the bill.

“He promised it wasn’t going to raise taxes on anybody making less than $400,000 a year, but the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) says that is not true,” Doocy said.

“Well, that is incorrect,” Jean-Pierre said.

“So, the Joint Committee on Taxation, which you guys heralded as an effective body when you were selling the infrastructure package, is not to be trusted here?” he said.

The press secretary said the JCT report is “incomplete” because it does not include the benefits the legislation would provide to Americans. She added that several experts disputed the report for excluding the benefits it would have on clean energy, lowering the deficit and prescription drugs.

The bill, if passed, would mandate a 15% minimum tax on corporations making $1 billion or more in profits, Jean-Pierre continued.

(RepublicanWire.org) – On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was confronted with the undeniable evidence the White House lied about the president’s awareness of Hunter’s foreign business deals.

“Why is there a voicemail of the president talking to his son about his overseas business dealings if the president has said, ‘he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business’?” Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked.

“Well, first I’ll say that, what the president said stands,” Jean-Pierre replied. “So… if that’s what the president said, that, that is what stands.”

“He’s leaving a voicemail about a New York Times article concerning Hunter Biden’s business dealings,” Doocy pushed back. “And he says, ‘I think you’re clear.’ How is that not him talking to his son about his overseas business dealings?”

“I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop,” KJP says emphatically.

In June, a voicemail that Joe Biden left for Hunter Biden was found on the laptop that shows he knew about about his son’s shady business with China and lied about it.

It’s not just the evidence of Chinese foreign influence operations penetrating the Biden White House that is damning. It’s the blatant cover-up.

(RepublicanWire.org) – An audio recording recently leaked of White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki shamefully saying White House correspondent Peter Doocy of Fox News “sounds like a stupid son of a b****.” Psaki’s comment came in response to a question from a left-wing podcast host. She went on to explain that this isn’t Doocy’s fault, but rather that Fox News as a network makes anyone sound like a “stupid son of a b****.”

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly blasted Psaki for the remark. Kelly says Psaki took “a shot at him” because he “asks her tough questions.” Most of the liberal mainstream media hand Psaki softball questions that aim to make the Biden administration look good.

Kelly explains, “She’s [Psaki] making the rounds, she’s going on Pod [Save] America, the far-left Obama guys have their podcast which is popular with liberals. And while on there she gets asked about Peter Doocy and whether basically he’s a jerk… they ask her basically if he’s some sort of an a**hole.”

“And she basically says oh ‘he works for a network that feeds its questions to people in a way that would make anybody sound like a jerk,’” Kelly added. “And I’m thinking to myself, ‘number one I’ve worked at Fox News and they actually, unlike NBC news, they don’t feed the anchor the questions. At Fox News nobody ever wrote a question for me ever. Not in a presidential debate, not on a big night, not on my nightly show, and I guarantee you nobody’s writing Peter Doocy’s questions for him,” Kelly continued. “And she [Psaki] decides to take a shot at him [Doocy]. Because he’s the only one willing to ask her tough questions.”

Political commentator Buck Sexton called Psaki’s response “pathetic” and said the only questions worth hearing to him are Doocy’s.

In response, Fox News released a statement that reads: “In his role as White House correspondent, Peter Doocy’s job is to elicit truth from power for the American public. His questions are his own, he is a terrific reporter and we are extremely proud of his work.”

“If we had a real press corps those press conferences would be testy, Megyn” Sexton said. “It should be interesting.”

“Peter Doocy works for a network that provides people with questions that might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b****,’” the podcast host shared. “Because the question was ‘is he really as much of a stupid son of a b as we think?”

“I know it’s annoying to be asked tough questions but it’s literally your job to answer them in that role,” she added. “And you’d do better to be honest. I mean even the president came out and tried to say that Doocy made up the basis for his questions about you know ‘you said you would respond in kind to Russia if it uses chemical weapons, was that smart?’”
