Liberals will tell you they care about education, but often don’t say they only want people they like to receive an education. Recently, Kyle Rittenhouse was cleared of murder and other charges from when he defended himself against BLM and Antifa rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rittenhouse, however, has not been allowed to live in peace. In their latest attempt to harass him, liberals are now trying to get Kyle Rittenhouse expelled from college.
Rittenhouse is enrolled at Arizona State University as a non-degree-seeking online student. He doesn’t set foot on the campus and is nowhere near the school at any time. Despite this, leftist student activists want the school to expel this distance-learning student to “protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”
A list of “demands” posted by the “Activists” urges the school to withdraw Rittenhouse. They also want the school to “release a statement against white supremacy” and “racist murderer Kyle Rittenhouse.”
The list of demands goes on to tell the school to “reaffirm support for the multicultural center on campus as a safe space from white supremacy” and to — surprise — defund the police and redirect their funding to the multicultural center. This is the same multicultural center that produced a video in September that showed two black students ordering two white students to leave simply because of their skin color.
“You’re making the space uncomfortable … You’re white,” the white students were told in the viral video. “Do you understand what a multicultural space is? It means you’re not being centered.”
“Even with a not-guilt verdict from a flawed ‘justice’ system — Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the families of those victims,” the students say. “Join us to demand from ASU that these demands be met to protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”
This is beyond ridiculous. Rittenhouse is not a murderer. He acted in self-defense. His doing so had nothing to do with race, but the fact that he was threatened. Rittenhouse is a hero, nothing more or less.
