(RepublicanWire.org) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday insisted that Joe Biden isn’t “Afraid of anything” when asked by Fox News’ Peter Doocy why he’s “Afraid of China.”

Jean-Pierre also brought up Biden’s recent visit to Ukraine in an attempt to back up her assertion. After being called on by Jean-Pierre, Doocy asked, “Why is President Biden afraid of China?”

“The President is not afraid of China,” Jean-Pierre shot back as Doocy interjected “Well.” Jean-Pierre ignored him, however, and asked, “Did you see the President last week when we went to Ukraine, went to Kiev?”

Jean-Pierre continued, “Look, this is not a president that’s afraid of anything. It was a historic trip that many of you said was brave. So clearly, this is a president who is not afraid to go to a war zone. He’s not afraid to go there when there’s no military presence on the ground. So there’s nothing that this president fears.”

Doocy wasn’t convinced as he pointed out, “China flew a spy craft over the U.S., the president didn’t really do anything to China, and according to the FBI director, China may have created something that has killed more than 1.1 million people in this country and President Biden is not punishing them.”

Jean-Pierre collected her thoughts and told Doocy, “So you’re giving me two things here, so let’s take them in part.”

“As we talk about the China surveillance balloon, the president did take that down and he did it in a way that as it was on its path, we collected information from it, we protected our national security information on the ground, and we did it in a way that was smart, effective, and also protected the American people, that’s what the president is always going to put froth, is the safety of the American people,” Jean-Pierre insisted.

Jean-Pierre addressed the “COVID origins” question by telling Doocy that they were still working on collecting “the data” in order to “get to the bottom” of the situation.

(RepublicanWire.org) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggled to accurately describe NORAD and mispronounced the word “Canada” during an interview with MSNBC on Sunday.

Jean-Pierre joined network host Jonathan Capehart to discuss objects the military continues to shoot down over North America.

Four such objects have been taken out of the sky since a suspected Chinese spy balloon was shot down just off the South Carolina coast.

Saturday, a U.S. military F-22 fighter downed what was described as a cylindrical object in Canadian airspace, Reuters reported.

The object was targeted after it was identified by NORAD.

During an awkward segment, Jean-Pierre struggled to adequately describe NORAD, which is tasked with protecting the skies over both Canada and the U.S. as part of a joint organization between both countries.

Capehart, for his part, was seemingly unaware as to why a U.S. jet operated outside of the country’s borders.

“Why is the American military shooting something out of the sky over Canada?” he asked.

“Because it’s part of, uh, NORAD,” Jean-Pierre responded. “There’s — uh — the NORAD is part of like a — part of — It’s a, it’s a, what you call a coalition — a consortium. A pact.”

Jean-Pierre went on to explain U.S. military leadership had not made a rogue decision to take action against an object in another country. In doing so, she bungled the name of the country’s neighbor to the north.

“We did it … clearly in step with Canadia,” she explained.

NORAD was founded during the Cold War and is headquartered near Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“On May 12, 1958, the agreement between the Canadian and U.S. governments that established NORAD was formalized,” the organization said on its website.

The agreement has been renewed numerous times, most recently in 2006.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Newsmax White House correspondent James Rosen dared to ask White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre exactly how President Biden decides which atrocity or tragedy merits his attention following the death of Tyre Nichols versus the death of a white police chief killed in the line of duty.

Biden did not address the murder of Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire who died several weeks ago in Pennsylvania in the line of duty after being shot by a carjacker. He happens to be white. Rosen wanted to know why there was a disparity in the treatment of those tragedies by the White House.

On Thursday, Rosen put Jean-Pierre in the hot seat, asking her a probing question which, of course, she evaded and did not answer. She droned on and on about how great Biden’s record as a politician is but did not address why McIntire’s family reportedly didn’t even receive a call from the president or anyone else in his administration.

“On the Tyre Nichols funeral — and I’m posing this question with no aspersions cast on what I think all observers thought was a very eloquent eulogy delivered by the vice president,” Rosen began.

“I think it — the event calls into question how the Biden White House goes about deciding which atrocities, which tragedies merit high-level attention from the president or the vice president,” he continued.

“So, in addition to the Nichols funeral, for example, we saw that the president called the parents of Damar Hamlin, an injured NFL player,” Rosen pointed out. “I checked the White House website just before coming into the briefing room today. And I see no indication that the chief executive has at any time reached out to the family of Justin McIntire, who was the police chief in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, who was shot to death in the line of duty, a father of four. Why not?”

Rosen’s question is a journalistically valid one with race being the obvious issue, and Jean-Pierre sidestepped the issue entirely.

“So, I’ll say this: If you look at this president — who has been a senator for 36 years, who has been a vice president for eight years, and who has been, clearly, you know, finished up his — is finishing up his two-years’ tenure in a four-year presidency thus far, he…” she answered, seemingly losing her train of thought.

“You know — if you know Joe Biden, you know that he feels the pain of many families who have lost loved ones because he knows what that means. You’ve named one family in particular. I understand why you’re naming that family in particular. But there’s been many families that he has called to offer up — you know, to offer up his condolences and offer up his help and assistance in any way,” Jean-Pierre stated, attempting to smooth over the egregious oversight.

She laughably went on to claim that Biden reaches out to the families of victims in a way others can’t or won’t do, which is just demonstrably untrue.

“We do not read out all of those — all of those conversations. But if you know Joe Biden and if you’ve been around Joe Biden, you know that this is something that the president does in a way that many politicians — at least that I have worked for — are not — won’t — can’t do — are not capable of doing,” she stammered.

“And the president will always be committed and always be open to talking to families who are hurting, who are going through a tough time, especially of a lost loved one,” the press secretary asserted, not confronting the fact that Biden seemed to not be “open to talking” to McIntire’s family who is grieving his loss.

Then she touched upon the truth of the matter. Biden decided that Nichols’ death and Hamilin’s medical emergency merited attention because they were high-profile. The police chief’s death was not.

“And I think the two that you just named were just very public. They were two incredibly public situations that — that where — you know, where — where the president was able to reach out in a way that — that people knew about — right? — that people were able to see how the president uses what he does so well — his understanding, his compassion for others,” Jean-Pierre continued stumbling over her words once more.

“And so, I would not — again, you named one family. The president has been, clearly, in the world of politics for a long time. And he has had many, many conversations with families who have lost loved ones,” she said, attempting to provide cover for Biden.

Having bloviated at length, unprofessionally and incompetently not answering Rosen’s question, Jean-Pierre then arrogantly dismissed the reporter.

“I’m going to continue to go around,” she announced.

(RepublicanWire.org) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wanted nothing to do with a question about whether President Joe Biden lied about his involvement with son Hunter Biden’s dubious business dealings.

The first press briefing of the year got off to a familiar start when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy grilled KJP about the border and then followed that up with a question about Republican oversight in the new Congress.

“With the new Republican majority coming in the House Oversight Committee is laying out their new investigations, and they claim to have evidence that Joe Biden lied to the American people about his involvement in his family’s business schemes,” Doocy said, before asking, “Did he?”

“So, look, I have said this before and I’ll say it again: House Republicans promised that fighting inflation during the midterms was going to be their number one priority,” Jean-Pierre replied. “That’s what they said was important to them, and that’s what they said that they wanted to do. But instead, what they’re doing is wanting to do an investigation on the president and his family.”

“That is their focus. They don’t want to focus on the American people and their family; they want to focus on political division. They want to focus on something that the American people do not want to see, as we saw from the midterm elections,” she continued. “Look, I’m not going to get into — you know, get into the specifics of any of the oversight here. We have a White House Counsel that’s going to — my colleagues who are going to deal with this. So I would point you to them.”

In effect, she dodged the question about whether Biden lied altogether. At the same time, evidence continues to grow suggesting that the president not only knew about Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine and China, among other places but was actively involved — a critical issue, if true, given that he is now the commander in chief of the most powerful nation on earth.

Jean-Pierre wrapped up her response with the gift Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel, R-Ky., gave Democrats, a joint appearance with Biden to tout the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passed last year.

“One more thing — I’ll point you to tomorrow,” she said, in reference to doing things that are important to Americans. “‘Tomorrow we’re going to see a trip, an event that’s going to be done in a bipartisan way.”

Suffice it to say, Jean-Pierre’s dodge didn’t go over well on social media. Here’s a quick sampling of responses from Twitter:

(RepublicanWire.org) – The Biden White House is blaming Republicans for the historic crisis on the southern border.

Title 42, a pandemic-era program that blocked migrants from seeking asylum in the U.S., ends next week, just days before Christmas, and migrants are staging by the thousands to illegally enter the U.S. when that happens. Officials are saying the numbers crossing into the U.S. from Mexico could reach 14,000 a day — never mind that the numbers currently exceed 8,000 on many days.

But White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre not only claims that President Biden has put in “the work” to secure the border, but that the Republican Party is to blame for the crisis.

The number of migrants flowing into the U.S. under Biden’s watch is staggering at this point and if it continues, will nearly double the estimated population of 11 million illegal immigrants in just 4 years — some experts put the current number in America at 20 million or more. According to federal authorities, 2.76 million people were encountered in the last fiscal year attempting to cross the border illegally. This figure does not include hundreds of thousands of known got-aways. In the previous year, the total was somewhere around 2 million, and to be clear, the pace is only increasing, with border officials stating on Monday that the previous 48 hours saw 16,000 migrant encounters.

Asked about the expected bum rush next week at Thursday’s press briefing, Jean-Pierre said the administration has “an intensive all-of-government effort underway to prepare” — their answer to the problem is to process the wave of humanity faster before releasing them into the U.S.

Jean-Pierre said there are 23,000 agents at the border “working night and day to protect and secure the border,” but that simply is not true. They are overwhelmed with processing the mind-boggling number of migrants encountered daily, as they now cross in battalion-size clips of 1,000 or more.

Jean-Pierre made it a point to blame the Trump administration for its successful efforts to slow the numbers flocking to America.

“What Americans should know is that the president has done the work to deal with what we’re seeing at the border since day one,” she said with a straight face. “What Americans should know is that the president put forth an immigration reform policy to make sure that we’re dealing with a broken system, to make sure that we’re able to protect DREAMers, to make sure that we deal with the backlog that we’re seeing with asylum seekers, to fix the gutted system that was — that has been around for some time but certainly was gutted by the last administration.”

The administration has said all along that the border is secure, and Jean-Pierre used the issue to advocate for immigration reform — see amnesty — that Democrats are pushing.

Axios reported that the Biden administration was considering a new post-Title 42 rule that would impose an asylum ban for roughly five months, but Jean-Pierre took to Twitter earlier this month to reassure migrants that the gates will remain open.

“The Administration is committed to continuing to secure our borders while maintaining safe, orderly and humane processing of migrants,” she tweeted. “This will remain the case when Title 42 is lifted. Reports that indicate U.S. policy will change are inaccurate; no such decisions have been made.”

The real “stunt” is feigning that the crisis is being dealt with when in reality the White House appears to be intentionally exacerbating the problem. To be clear, processing illegal immigrants faster is not going to “fix” the issue — unless the issue is artificially altering voter demographics in America to favor Democrats.

(RepublicanWire.org) – White House Press Secretary Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre loses it on a reporter and walks out of White House press briefing.

KJP abruptly ended Thursday’s White House press briefing after an interruptive exchange with Today News Africa chief White House correspondent Simon Ateba.

Ateba was asking about next week’s U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, where African leaders will descend on Washington, and the back-and-forth devolved quickly.

Here’s how the chaos — during which Jean-Pierre called on a different reporter, only to have Ateba interrupt — all went down:

ATEBA: Can you take a question on the U.S.-Africa Summit?

REPORTER: Thank you, Karine —

JEAN-PIERRE: Go ahead.

ATEBA: Can you take a question on the U.S.-Africa Summit?

JEAN-PIERRE: I — go ahead. Go ahead.

ATEBA: Karine, why is it so hard to take a question on the U.S.-Africa Summit, when the president is meeting 50 African leaders — the biggest gathering of leaders of his administration? Why is it hard for you to give me a question?

While Ateba was asking “why is it so hard,” Jean-Pierre looked stoic and frustrated.

JEAN-PIERRE: It is not hard. I’ve answered — I —

ATEBA: No, it is hard, because it’s been months. You don’t —

JEAN-PIERRE: Would you let me answer the question? Or are you going to —

ATEBA: I don’t want to yell, but you don’t give us question.

JEAN-PIERRE: Okay. I’m trying to answer your question.

However, Ateba didn’t ask a question, rather asked if he could ask a queston. Jean-Pierre tried calling on the other reporter as Ateba tried to ask a question in which Jean-Pierre accused Ateba of not letting her answer him.

After a couple more moments of a tense back-and-forth, Jean-Pierre ended the briefing.

“Okay, thanks, everybody,” she said. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Jean-Pierre then walked away from the podium.

This is not the first time Ateba has clashed with Jean-Pierre. She blasted him when he tried to ask outgoing White House Chief Medical Adviser Anthony Fauci last month a question during his final briefing.

Ateba previously accused Jean-Pierre of blacklisting him.

(RepublicanWire.org) – This guy might be the worst nightmare of Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Fox News journalist Peter Doocy had Jean-Pierre on her back foot in Wednesday’s White House news conference.

Doocy pointed out the White House’s hypocrisy in continuing to use Twitter after all but throwing shade at new CEO Elon Musk.

“When are you guys going to delete the White House Twitter account?” Doocy questioned Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre didn’t immediately answer, instead asking Doocy in turn why such a move would be appropriate for the Biden administration.

“You’re saying that you’re keeping an eye on Twitter because it might not be a suitable platform — so why use it?” Doocy retorted.

Jean-Pierre pushed back on the idea of the White House closing its Twitter account, instead merely restating President Joe Biden’s commitment to fighting “hate speech and misinformation” on social media.

Doocy is one of the only journalists who scrutinizes the Biden administration in White House media briefings, often stacked with establishment news reporters who treat Biden with kid gloves.

Biden himself has suggested that he would be keeping an eye on Twitter after Musk’s acquisition of the social media company.

Musk — who is no fan of Biden, despite voting for him in 2020 — would probably find Doocy’s line of questioning to be valid.

Perhaps it’s not impossible that Biden and the left will eventually opt out of using social media networks that aren’t censored and rigged to their advantage.

Under its previous ownership, Twitter discriminated against conservatives and advanced left-wing narratives.

On Friday, Musk released bombshell evidence to journalist Matt Taibbi exposing Twitter’s role in pro-Biden election interference in 2020.

Internal Twitter communications in the months preceding the election reveal the Biden campaign’s role in using Twitter’s censorship policies to its benefit.

Twitter’s pre-Musk senior executives played a key role in the suppression of the news about Hunter Biden’s laptop, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde leading the effort to shut down all content related to the (truthful) story.
