(RepublicanWire.org) – Nearly two dozen black White House staffers have left the administration since late 2021 or are planning to leave soon due to an unsupportive work environment and little chance for promotion.

A former White House official told Politico according to a report from Tuesday, the remarkable number of black staff departures has led some aides to call it a “Blaxit” or “Black Exit.”

“We’re here and we’re doing a lot of work, but we’re not decision-makers and there’s no real way to become decision-makers,” a current black White House official said, according to the report. “There is no real feedback and there is no clear path to any kind of promotion.”

Another black worker said low wages are driving many minority staff members out, especially in a city with one of the highest cost of living in the country.

Entry-level White House salaries only start at $48,000.

The first notable exit from this ‘Blaxit’ movement came in December 2021, when Vice President Kamala Harris’ chief spokesman Symone Sanders announced she was leaving. She landed on MSNBC where her self-titled show debuted on May 7.

In the weeks and months following early 2022, Harris senior assistants Tina Flournoy, Ashley Etienne and Vincent Evans all left, as did her public engagement head Cedric Richmond.

Including those departures that began late last year, at least 21 black staffers have now or are planning to leave the White House in the coming weeks and months.

Black staffers who have left the White House in the past five months include public engagement assistant Carissa Smith; gender policy officer Kalisha Dessources Figures; Senior Director of the National Security Council Linda Etim; Digital Engagement Director Cameron Trimble; and associate counsel Funmi Olorunnipa Badejo.

Also leaving are Chief of Staff Ron Klain advisers Elizabeth Wilkins and Niyat Mulughetal; press assistant Natalie Austin; National Economic Council staff Joelle Gamble and Connor Maxwell; and presidential staff aides Danielle Okai, Reggie Greer and Rayshawn Dyson.

Other black government staffers who plan to leave in the coming weeks include Deputy White House Adviser Danielle Conley and Assistant to the Council of Economic Advisers Saharra Griffin, according to the Politico report.

Some staffers left on good terms, including for other administration and graduate school jobs, while others said they wanted to refocus after years in a tense work environment with little free time or support from superiors.

“I have worked for both the president and vice president throughout the campaign cycle and found the opportunity to serve the American people in the Biden-Harris White House nothing short of an honor,” Austin said upon her departure.

“I loved my experience on the press team, and left because I wanted a chance to spend more time with family after nearly three years of campaigning and government work.”

Many black White House staffers said Richmond’s departure was particularly difficult for them.

They described the former Harris aide as a “big brother,” “voice of the people” and a “core” for black staffers. His departure, they added, has made people “a little nervous.”

“They generally brought in a lot of black people to start with without ever setting up infrastructure to keep them or help them be successful,” said a black White House official. “If there’s no clear infrastructure to be successful, you become as invisible in this space as if you weren’t there.”

Richmond, now a senior adviser to the Democratic National Committee, told Politico that the White House gave young black staffers more responsibility than other governments and that many who left were doing so for higher-pay jobs.

“A lot of people have had this rut for a while and it’s a hard grind, so a reduction in the pace of work and a better salary will be more attractive,” he says. “For young African-American staffers who can earn these kinds of salaries, it changes not only their plight, but also that of their families.”

The exodus of black staffers had raised concerns among those pushing for diversification in government offices.

“I’ve heard about an exodus of black White House officials — ‘Blaxit’ — and I’m concerned,” Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies chairman Spencer Overton told Politico.

The group’s chairman, which tracks staff diversity figures in government, added: “Black voters accounted for 22 percent of President Biden’s voters in November 2020.”

“It is essential that black staffers are not only recruited to serve in senior, middle and junior positions in the White House, but are also involved in key policy and personnel decisions and have career advancement opportunities.”

A White House official pushed back criticism, claiming that 14 percent of current Biden and Harris staffers are black, which is in line with America’s 13.4 percent black population.

Karine Jean-Pierre, Biden’s new press secretary, said: “The president is incredibly proud to have built what continues to be the most diverse White House staff in history, and he is committed to the historic representation of black. staff and all communities.”

“This is a normal time for turnover across the board in any administration and black personnel have been promoted faster than personnel who are not diverse,” she added.

(RepublicanWire.org) – A majority of Americans want President Joe Biden to secure the southern border with tougher immigration policies. However, it seems the will of the American people falls on deaf ears under the Biden regime.

Customs and Border Protection encountered 221,2020 migrants illegally crossing the southern border in March, marking a 22-year high as the Biden administration releases an unprecedented number of border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior.

The Department of Homeland Security warns as many as 18,000 migrants will flood across the southern border per day if Title 42 is revoked.

The Biden administration has no plans to stop the mass illegal migration surge.

In fact, the Biden White House is “grateful” for the job Vice President Kamala Harris has done as border czar.

Asked during Wednesday’s briefing whether Harris could still be trusted to halt the influx of illegal immigrants, White House press secretary Jen Psaki recognized Harris’s handling of the border crisis.

“A question about immigration. Does the president still have confidence that the vice president can get to the bottom of root causes of migration?” Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked.

“He absolutely does,” Psaki replied. “And he’s grateful for her work in doing exactly that.”

“Why?” Doocey shot back. “What gives the president confidence when he sees that March 2022 has 28 percent more migrant encounters at the border than March 2021, when she got this assignment?

Psaki insisted the administration has addressed the root cause of migration by forging immigration agreements with Costa Rica and a partnership with Mexico to stem “irregular migration.”

“Addressing root causes means working with countries in the region to take steps to have regular partnerships and be able to have people sent back to the region as needed,” she said.

A majority of Americans have an unfavorable view of Harris. Fifty-six percent of likely voters have an “unfavorable” view of the vice president, according to a Rassmussen survey conducted on March 27 and 28.  Forty-seven percent said they had a “very unfavorable” impression of Harris, while 9 percent viewed her ‘somewhat unfavorably.

Most Americans also want Joe Biden to implement tougher immigration policies. A new CBS News/YouGov poll reveals that 52 percent of Americans believe Biden “should be tougher on illegal immigrants, while just 27 percent say he is “handling things right” at the border.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Fox News host Tucker Carlson tore into Vice President Kamala Harris over her many failures and even speculated on what her next move will be.

“Harris is going back to Europe to see how much worse she can make this disaster,” Carlson said, offering his opinion of her next moves.

Carlson said that the disaster in Ukraine is spinning out of control, claiming it is “shocking to see Europe just lost a huge percentage of its energy supply, which is not a small thing. We’ve been taken by surprise by the whole thing. We’re not the only ones who were, but we’re willing to admit it.”

Carlson blamed Harris, who he said is not a “serious person” or someone who is capable of handling the situation in Ukraine.

“So, why didn’t we see this coming, this total loss of control? Well, because we assumed that if things were dire, serious people would be involved in fixing them, but we looked up and we saw Kamala Harris involved, and that reassured us,” Carlson said.

“Harris had just come back from Europe, where she’d been conducting diplomacy with our allies, and that appeared to be proof this could not really be a big deal. The situation in Ukraine had been legitimately serious. If the future of Europe and the world hung in the balance as now so obviously it does, of course, the Biden administration would not have sent Kamala Harris to fix it because that’s not her job. Kamala Harris’s job is to trot down to the Blue Room periodically to greet delegations of TikTok influencers or to cut occasional PSAs for the Children’s Dental Health Awareness Month, which is in February. So, we assumed she’d be working on that right now,” Carlson said.

“But averting war with Russia? Saving the civilized world? C’mon. That is absolutely not Kamala Harris’s job. That was our assumption, but as noted, we were wrong. Why were we wrong? Well, we spend a lot of time watching Kamala Harris. You probably don’t. Unless you are a junior producer at MSNBC, you’re probably not that familiar with Kamala Harris. We should say, by the way, we didn’t underestimate Vladimir Putin. We overestimated Joe Biden, but we knew that once Kamala Harris was involved, it couldn’t really be that serious and we knew that because this is what she’s like,” he added.

Former GOP Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich offered similar comments about Harris last week, saying her speaking blunders are a reason to pray for President Joe Biden’s health.

Gingrich told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that the VP’s repetitive ”the passage of time” remarks — where she said the phrase at least four times within the span of a minute while speaking in Louisiana — highlight an incoherence on her part.

“First of all, if you want a strong reason to pray for the health of the president of the United States, you are reminded again today that the region is the vice president. Not totally incoherent. He may or may not have cognitive decline problems at his age but at her age, she’s just dumb,” Gingrich said.

“Let’s be clear. Kamala Harris might be the dumbest person ever elected vice president in American history. And that’s why people keep resigning. If you are a national security advisor and you were competent and you worked hard and you knew what you are doing, and you watched her in Poland come up to break up laughing when she’s asked about Ukrainian refugees? You’d have a sense of total humiliation. So I’m not surprised that the particular advisor resigned. Because it’s very clear that Kamala Harris should never, ever, be allowed to leave the country,” he added.

“I think we have never seen a national political figure — not just the vice president, but a national political figure — who is as self-destructive as Kamala Harris. I mean, you watch her day after day, you watch her go to Poland, break up laughing in a press conference with the Polish president when she is asked about the refugees from Ukraine. You see her tenth person leave her staff, who was, by the way, the National security advisor who was with her in Poland, who must have been totally embarrassed and demoralized by watching her break up laughing when talking about the Ukrainian refugees. And you watch other things she’s done,” he continued.

“And I thought that she was an insurance policy to make sure that nobody tried to replace Biden no matter how bad his cognitive problems, but I’m beginning to think that she is like Spiro Agnew, who turned out to be so bad that when he got replaced, he set the stage for Nixon to be replaced,” Gingrich said.

He continued, “And I have a hunch that she is on a very, very short fuse right now because I think most Americans realize that the prospect of her being president is genuinely terrifying. I mean, it’s bad enough to think about Biden being president when he is clearly not totally in touch with reality, but the idea of being replaced by Kamala, I think, is astonishingly frightening.”

(RepublicanWire.org) – Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson has introduced a resolution calling for Vice President Kamala Harris to be removed from her position as the “border czar.”

The resolution, which has 26 co-sponsors, comes as Republicans argue Harris and President Joe Biden have completely failed to handle the border crisis.

There were 164,973 encounters with migrants at the southern border in February, which is up 7% from January and also a 63% increase from the previous year, according to new U.S. Customs and Border Patrol data.

“Instead of working for the American people, Kamala Harris has worked against us by ignoring her responsibilities as Border Czar. Rather than doing her job, Harris sits back and watches as illegal immigration skyrockets, countless people at home and abroad are victimized by drug and human trafficking, and CBP officers are left without resources or support from the Biden Administration. Make no mistake – Harris’ approach is by design, and she must be stopped,” Jackson said.

“It is past time for Joe Biden to remove her from the Border Czar role and appoint someone who will put Americans’ interests first. A nation without borders is no nation at all. We need a real leader at the helm who will secure our southern border, and, in turn, our country’s bright future. A single canned photo op and pointless foreign trips to Northern Triangle countries on the taxpayers’ dime are not cutting it. I urge Speaker Pelosi to bring my resolution to the House Floor immediately, for the American peoples’ sake,” Jackson continued.

A few months ago, Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar, who represents an area along the southern border, also called for Harris to be replaced as the “border czar.”

“I’ve moved on from the vice president to say, ‘OK, let’s work with the ambassadors and let’s work with the State Department. Let’s work with the Homeland Secretary,’” Cuellar said.

“I think that’s the way to address it, but I know that the media has put a lot of focus on the vice president, but with all due respect, she was given that title. I don’t think she’s, with all due respect, put the effort in there…We’ve got to look at other folks that have the expertise on that,” Cuellar added.

Harris, who was appointed by Joe Biden to serve as the “border czar,” has been under fire for a year over her failure to visit the crisis at the border.

Rumors are flying that Biden’s administration is at least looking into the idea of replacing Harris as vice president and having her nominated to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.

White House insiders are painting a picture of total chaos and discontent between Biden and Harris, according to CNN.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Recently there are some reporters from The New York Times to release a book. While they are not former White House staff it is possible that they could still have some insight into some things.

One thing that makes this one especially interesting is that according to this book they are revealing some details about Kamala Harris that are not so flattering. Mind you this is coming from reporters from The New York Times which is known to be left leaning.

Apparently, Harris was not very happy about being appointed to try to fix the problem at the southern border. I can’t imagine why. Probably because they are ridiculous policies, and are literally impossible at solving the problem.

She also thinks that Biden’s “white inner circle” has issues with her. I’m sure she thinks it’s probably a race thing, but to be truthful that’s probably because she’s not the brightest crayon in the shed.

According to the Daily Mail,

Kamala Harris wasn’t happy with Joe Biden appointing her to address the southern border crisis, wanting a more softball foreign policy assignment, and thinks the president’s ‘white inner circle’ looks down on her, according to claims made in a new book.

During an April meeting with Congressional Black Caucus leaders, Biden praised Harris and said she would do ‘a hell of a job’ handling immigration.

‘The vice president corrected him at once,’ New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns wrote in their new upcoming book This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.

The book also explains that the first minority and female vice president felt belittled by Biden’s white staff.

‘Some of Harris’s advisers believed the president’s almost entirely white inner circle did not show the vice president the respect she deserved,’ they wrote.

‘Harris worried that Biden’s staff looked down on her; she fixated on real and perceived snubs in ways the West Wing found tedious,’ they added, according to excerpts published by Politico on Tuesday.

Biden tasked Harris with addressing immigration – and the vice president took her opportunities to share her dissatisfaction with the role.

According to the book, Harris’ aides felt that the task of addressing the southern border crisis, in any way, was politically undesirable and wanted the vice president to have a more softball foreign policy assignment – like overseeing relations with Nordic countries.

There’s a lot more that’s in his book that dishes dirty details on Kamala Harris. One of the things that the book mentions is the whole magazine cover that she didn’t like because of certain outfits and how it made her look inferior to other professionals. And then this became an issue of race as well.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Much has been reported about the toxic work environment that exists over at the office of Vice President Kamala Harris.

A new book written by reporters at The New York Times claims that that environment, as well as public missteps that have been taken by Harris, is the sole fault of the vice president herself.

On Tuesday, Politico reported on some of the details of the upcoming book, called “This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.” In it, the authors, Alex Burns and Jonathan Martin of The New York Times, write that Kate Bedingfield, the communications director at the White House, blamed Harris for all the problems happening in her office.

Since just last summer, 10 different members of Harris’ staff have left her office. The latest was Nancy McEldowney, the national security adviser for Harris, who stepped down from her post on Monday.

Harris’s team has quipped that the White House was mismanaging her staff, and that was the main reason why so many of them were leaving their posts.

In response to that, the authors wrote that:

“Bedingfield had taken to noting that the vice presidency was not the first time in Harris’s political career that she had fallen short of sky-high expectations.

“Her Senate office had been messy and her [2020] presidential campaign had been a fiasco. Perhaps, she suggested, the problem was not the vice president’s staff.”

In response to the Politico report, Bedingfield denied that she ever said those words. She sent an email to Politico that read, in part:

“The fact that no one working on this book bothered to call to fact check this unattributed claim tells you what you need to know. Vice President Harris is a force in this administration, and I have the utmost respect for the work she does every day to move the country forward.”

Those comments are very similar to many that have come out of the White House in response to questions or criticisms about Harris and the job she’s done as vice president. It wouldn’t be all that surprising, then, if Bedingfeld did in fact say what was written in the book, but wants to publicly back the vice president as the Biden administration continues to falter.

According to the book, there initially was a united front between President Joe Biden and Harris, but that all started to come apart in June of 2021, following Harris’ trip to Central American countries that revolved around the growing migration crisis.

While she was there, Harris was criticized for comments she made to NBC News when she was asked by Lester Holt when she’d visit the U.S. southern border with Mexico.

Her response was quite sarcastic. She said:

“And I haven’t been to Europe. And I mean, I don’t understand the point that you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border.”

That was only apparently the first crack in the united front. Since then, more cracks have formed, and a wide gap apparently now remains — one that many believe is the sole fault of Harris.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Our country’s ruling class doubled down in its efforts to silence anyone who dares dissent from their approved narrative.

On March 9, 2022, Democrat Tulsi Gabbard offered the following comments to Fox News concerning our government’s handling of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

“Nothing that the Biden administration has done has helped make this situation better nor has it helped deescalate the situation. When I look at these issues, I think about what is in the best interests of the American people [and] the continued escalation of this conflict and this war is not in the best interest of Americans or the world. … People like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, all use this flowery language about how you know we’ve got to take a stand and pay the price … for freedom. The question that we should all be asking them is OK, tell us how Russia somehow has the power to take away … the rights that are enshrined in our Bill of Rights. The answer is, they don’t; they don’t have that power. So, the lines that we’re being sold are just crap. … It’s crap.”

Ms. Gabbard then summarized: “The ‘Power Elite’ in Washington” is doing all this simply to further their goals; “their warmongering” and their “military-industrial complex.”

And for all the above, Ms. Gabbard was then declared verboten by Google and YouTube, and her comments were flagged this week by “fact-checkers” as “inappropriate and offensive to some audiences.”

So, there you have it. Ms. Gabbard just said something that, for all intents and purposes, is indistinguishable from what the leaders of her own party have said a thousand times over when they criticized former Presidents George Bush, Ronald Reagan or for that matter Lyndon B. Johnson, and she was canceled for doing so.

This kind of censorship should bother you. Or as Tucker Carlson recently said, “When every orifice of the national media, fully aligns [with the political establishment] to push a single message, this ought to make you nervous.”

(RepublicanWire.org) – Team Kamala is trying to play clean up to a blunder that Vice President Kamala Harris made last week while speaking at the Democratic National Committee in Washington D.C., and then repeated Tuesday on social media.

A now-deleted tweet from the vice president’s official Twitter account read: “When I was in Poland, I met with U.S. and Polish service members, thanking them for standing with our NATO allies for freedom, peace, and security. The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in defense of the NATO alliance.”

Of course, Ukraine is not part of the NATO alliance, yet from an appearance standpoint, it appears that someone in the vice president’s office is confused about that.

In a follow-up tweet, a critical “and” is strategically added to the statement.

“When I was in Poland, I met with U.S. and Polish service members, thanking them for standing with our NATO allies for freedom, peace, and security. The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people and in defense of the NATO alliance.

Given that Twitter STILL does not provide an “edit” feature, it’s easy to gather that it was just a typo, except Harris spoke those very words last week, drawing plenty of facepalms at the time –which makes it inexplicable that the blunder would be repeated four days later.

“Russia’s invasion threatens not just Ukraine’s democracy, it threatens democracy and security across Europe,” Harris declared. “So I will say what I know we all say, and I will say over and over again: The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in defense of the NATO alliance.”

Interestingly, the official White House transcripts of those remarks added the all important “and,” as seen here:

“Russia’s invasion threatens not just Ukraine’s democracy, it threatens democracy and security across Europe.  And by extension, when democracy is threatened anywhere, it threatens us all.  And the ocean that separates us will not leave us untouched by this aggression.

“So I will say what I know we all say, and I will say over and over again: The United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people [and] in defense of the NATO Alliance.”

(RepublicanWire.org) – Vice President Kamala Harris insisted Sunday that the mere threat of sanctions will deter Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine while also admitting she thinks he’s decided to invade already.

Harris was attending the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany along with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy when she took time to speak with the press. After calling the trip productive for “collaboration and partnership with our Allies,” Harris suggested that the threat from Russia endangered the NATO Alliance, calling the principles of it “compromised, if not attacked” before taking questions from the press.

Among those questions, Harris was asked by an ABC reporter, “When [Zelenskyy] spoke after your meeting, he shared his frustration with countries like the U.S. who say that an attack is likely to happen in Ukraine but you won’t put sanctions in place until that happens. You – the administration has continually said that retaining those sanctions holds on to some leverage. But if you believe Putin has made up his mind, what leverage do you really have? Why not put those sanctions in place now?”

Harris claimed that sanctions targeted at individuals and institutions, “in particular, financial institutions” continue to be about deterrence and that they “will exact absolute harm for the Russian economy and their government.”

The reporter fired back, “But if Putin has made up his mind, do you feel that this threat that has been looming is really going to deter him?”

“Absolut-” Harris began before choosing less certain language, “we strongly believe – and remember also,” Harris said before shifting blame for any outcome to NATO, “that the sanctions are a product not only of our perspective…but a shared perspective among our Allies.”

“And within the context then of the fact that that window,” Harris said of a diplomatic path, “is still opening, although – open, although it is absolutely narrowing – but within the context of a diplomatic path still being open, the deterrence effect, we believe, has merit.”

Zelenskyy remained opposed to the delay.

“We don’t need your sanctions after the bombardment will happen,” he said at the conference, Fox News reported, “and after our country will be fired at or after we will have no borders or after we will have no economy or parts of our country will be occupied. Why would we need those sanctions then?”

Another reporter asked Harris, “What is the endgame?” in regards to how the U.S., “after imposing some of these sanctions and possible military action, how does the U.S. disentangle from this?”

“I don’t,” Harris paused, “we don’t consider ourselves to be entangled.”

She then went on to add, “I mean, listen, guys, we’re talking about the potential for war in Europe. I mean, let’s really take a moment to understand the significance of what we’re talking about,” before saying that Europe has had peace and security for 70 years.

According to reports, Russia has still said it has no plans to attack Ukraine. That stance comes as Russia-backed rebels assisted in shelling in Ukraine on Sunday and Putin has placed more than 150,000 Russian troops on the border of Ukraine.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Vice President Kamala Harris continues to lose staff with the departure of yet another high-ranking member of her team.

Kate Childs Graham, Harris’ chief speechwriter, is leaving the vice president’s office at the end of the month, sources told Fox News.

A White House official told Fox News, “Kate is leaving the office, but not the family. The vice president is grateful for her service to the administration.”

“We are excited for her next step,” the official added.

This is far from the first resignation for the vice president’s team. The office has seen a virtual exodus over the course of her first year in office as staffers complain about their workplace morale.

Harris’ communications director Ashley Etienne resigned in November to “pursue other opportunities.” That came after reports of exasperation between Harris’ office and Biden’s amid lagging approval ratings for Harris.

Shortly after Etienne’s departure, Symone Sanders announced she would be departing at the end of the year. Harris’ office said Sanders, a senior adviser and her chief spokesperson, “will be missed.”

In January, Vincent Evans, who served as the vice president’s deputy director of public engagement and intergovernmental affairs for nearly a year, left to become the executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus.

In a press conference on the eve of the anniversary of his inauguration, President Biden said unambiguously that Harris would be his running mate for re-election in 2024.

“She is going to be my running mate – number one. And number two, I did put her in charge. I think she’s doing a good job,” Biden said.
