(RepublicanWire.org) – On Wednesday, far-left Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar had melt down during a press conference after being stripped of her committee’s by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. During her meltdown, she bizarrely claimed that removing her from these committees’ is a “threat to national security”.

“In modern American history, the punishment of stripping member of Congress of their committee assignments has been reserved for only the most egregious wrongdoings: Those convicted or indicted on corruption, those who have engaged in bribery, sexual misconduct, encouraged violence, or other grave charges,” she said, melting down.

“Kevin McCarthy⁩‘s purely partisan move to strip us from our committee is not only a political stunt, but also a blow to the integrity of our democratic institutions, and a threat to our national security,” she falsely stated. “We are thankful to leader Jeffries and house Democrats and even some courageous Republicans for standing with us if McCarthy wants to denigrate the integrity of the house and its committees, we will always stand up to these efforts,” she concluded.

McCarthy’s reason for removing Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee, is because of her “repeated antisemitic and anti-American remarks.”  In 2019, the Somalia-born Omar referred to 9/11 as an incident in which “some people did something.”

On twitter, Clayton Keirns shared a video of Omar, “gleefully recounting how a professor said the words Al Qaeda.”

The election in 2022 is an important one for many reasons. If we take back the House and Senate, we can oppose Joe Biden’s dangerous and demented agenda. We can stop liberals from pushing through whatever laws they want. We can alto kick Ilhan Omar off the House Foreign Affairs Committe, says House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Ilhan Omar has long drawn controversy for her anti-Semitic and other remarks. Omar has compared Israel to terrorist organizations (and received backlash even from her own party for doing so). She’s compared reasonable, common-sense voting laws to “Apartheid.” She’s even been praised by the Muslim Brotherhood for her hatred of Israel. Ilhan Omar does not belong in government at all, much less the House Foreign Affairs Committee. But McCarthy vows to fix at least that latter part after we retake the House in 2022.

“I will promise you this: If we are fortunate enough to have the majority, Omar would not be serving on Foreign Affairs [Committee] or anybody that has an anti-semitic, anti-American view,” McCarthy said on Fox News.

This doesn’t mean nothing will be done about Omar in the mean time. There is talk of a resolution to remove her from her position immediately. Unfortunately, there is a good chance it will fail with Democrats in charge.

We have a lot to worry about in the time leading up to 2022 — and the time after. But Ilhan Omar’s brazen and anti-Semitic remarks are not only offensive, but they put America and Americans at risk. It’s unclear (and unlikely) whether she will be removed from the important position she is disgracing anytime soon, but we must retake the House in 2022 to ensure that it can happen after that.

Racist “Squad” member Ilhan Omar recently compared Israel to terrorist groups, but you wouldn’t know that if you exist inside the fake news bubble at ABC and CBS and the like. Omar made the remarks on Monday, but those networks completely ignored the offensive and anti-Semitic remarks.

Fox News reports that a Media Research Center analysis found that the networks completely ignored not only the controversial remarks, but the backlash that followed:

According to the MRC, NBC eventually reported on the controversy in its Thursday nightly news report, but seemingly downplayed the backlash by Omar’s fellow Democrats calling her out for using “false equivalences” to “give cover to terrorist groups.” ABC and CBS still had not covered the story following their Friday morning news programs.

“We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban. I asked [Secretary of State Antony Blinken] where people are supposed to go for justice,” Omar tweeted Monday.

Omar’s tweet that started the controversy is still active:

Omar’s remarks drew bipartisan criticism, including from 12 Democrat House members calling them “offensive” and “misguided.”

Omar responded by blasting her colleagues, calling it “shameful” for them to have a problem with the racist comparison between Israel and terrorists. According to her, it was also “Islamophobic.”

While the rest of the “Squad” stepped in to defend her, the rest of us just want Ilhan Omar to go away.
