(RepublicanWire.org) – Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia doubled his income after being elected senator, with more than half of his income coming from book deals and outside employment, according to Senate financial disclosures he filed on Aug. 15.

Warnock made roughly $541,000 in 2021 and was paid over $364,000 from outside sources in addition to his $174,000 Senate salary, according to his financial disclosures. As a result of these outside payments, the Georgia Democrat made over double his previous salary, which was $221,602 in 2020, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

Warnock received $243,750 from Penguin Random House for his book, which was published in June, according to the disclosures. Ebenezer Baptist Church also paid Warnock $120,964 for his position as senior pastor in 2021, this payment included a $7,417-per-month housing allowance, the Free Beacon reported.

The senator took most of the church’s money as a housing allowance, allowing him to avoid the Senate’s $29,000 outside income cap, according to the Free Beacon. Previously, during the 2020 Georgia senatorial runoff election, Warnock accused his opponent, former Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, of “using the people’s seat to enrich yourself.”

Warnock also collected tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations from political action committees (PACs) funded by large corporations this election cycle. At the same time, the senator claims that he has “never taken a dime of corporate PAC money” and pledged not to do so.

Warnock took money for that campaign from a private-sector firm that is buying up private homes to then rent out after he warned about corporations doing that very thing during his campaign.

Warnock’s campaign took $29,600 during the first and second quarters of 2022 from Democratic leadership PACs that have in turn accepted $1.6 million from corporate-backed PACs since 2003, according to Federal Election Commission records (FEC).

“Raphael Warnock is the ultimate actor,” Lawson, the GOP strategist, said at the time. “Whether it’s in terms of his voting record for billions in wasteful spending or taking huge sums from liberal corporate mega-donors. He’s the ultimate hypocrite and I think Georgia voters see through his lies and his hypocrisy.”

Warnock will face off in November against Republican candidate Herschel Walker, a retired NFL player. The senator leads Walker by two points, according to a FiveThirtyEight polling average.

Democrats are going nuts over the recount efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine their story that Joe Biden won the presidency legitimately. Now, patriots in Georgia are joining the fight. A judge in Georgia has ruled that nearly 150,000 absentee ballots must be unsealed as part of an audit effort to ensure the legitimacy of both the presidential election and the state Senate runoffs — all three of which saw Democrats “win.”

Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero has ordered more than 145,000 ballots must be unsealed for inspection. The Atlanta Constitution-Journal reports that while exact details of the audit are being worked out, the goal is to scan and examine the absentee ballots to determine their legitimacy:

At a hearing Friday, Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero made clear the ballots must remain in the custody of Fulton election officials. That could prevent the kind of allegations of mishandling ballots and improper procedures that have dogged a Republican-sponsored audit of ballots in Arizona in recent weeks.

The latest Georgia review cannot change the election results, which were certified months ago and have already been confirmed by multiple recounts. But the plaintiffs say an examination of ballots would get to the bottom of what they see as suspicious activity by election officials at State Farm Arena in November.

The lawsuit was filed by nine Georgia residents who, like a staggering percentage of Americans, believe there was a lot of shady business in the 2020 election. It’s one of more than 30 lawsuits that addressed alleged fraud associated with Joe Biden’s “victory.”

“Voter confidence in our election system is the bedrock of our republic,” says former GOP Senator Kelly Loeffler. “Unfortunately, inconsistencies in Fulton County’s November 2020 absentee ballots cast serious doubt on voters’ faith in our elections.”

Democrats, however, are upset. “It is outrageous that Fulton County continues to be a target of those who cannot accept the results from last year’s election,” says Democrat Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts. “The votes have been counted multiple times, including a hand recount, and no evidence of fraud has been found.

Though this is a victory, it should be noted that Amero opposed a private company auditing the ballots with high-resolution scanning and inspection. Amero plan to order the ballots to be scanned by county officials. The plaintiffs will then be allowed to examine the images. Voting rights group Fair Fight calls it, rightfully,  “a sideshow, not an audit.”

It’s unclear what will happen with this, but we must wonder what is so terrifying about a legitimate audit?
