Democrat Sen. Uses His Position To Enrich Himself…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia doubled his income after being elected senator, with more than half of his income coming from book deals and outside employment, according to Senate financial disclosures he filed on Aug. 15.

Warnock made roughly $541,000 in 2021 and was paid over $364,000 from outside sources in addition to his $174,000 Senate salary, according to his financial disclosures. As a result of these outside payments, the Georgia Democrat made over double his previous salary, which was $221,602 in 2020, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

Warnock received $243,750 from Penguin Random House for his book, which was published in June, according to the disclosures. Ebenezer Baptist Church also paid Warnock $120,964 for his position as senior pastor in 2021, this payment included a $7,417-per-month housing allowance, the Free Beacon reported.

The senator took most of the church’s money as a housing allowance, allowing him to avoid the Senate’s $29,000 outside income cap, according to the Free Beacon. Previously, during the 2020 Georgia senatorial runoff election, Warnock accused his opponent, former Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, of “using the people’s seat to enrich yourself.”

Warnock also collected tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations from political action committees (PACs) funded by large corporations this election cycle. At the same time, the senator claims that he has “never taken a dime of corporate PAC money” and pledged not to do so.

Warnock took money for that campaign from a private-sector firm that is buying up private homes to then rent out after he warned about corporations doing that very thing during his campaign.

Warnock’s campaign took $29,600 during the first and second quarters of 2022 from Democratic leadership PACs that have in turn accepted $1.6 million from corporate-backed PACs since 2003, according to Federal Election Commission records (FEC).

“Raphael Warnock is the ultimate actor,” Lawson, the GOP strategist, said at the time. “Whether it’s in terms of his voting record for billions in wasteful spending or taking huge sums from liberal corporate mega-donors. He’s the ultimate hypocrite and I think Georgia voters see through his lies and his hypocrisy.”

Warnock will face off in November against Republican candidate Herschel Walker, a retired NFL player. The senator leads Walker by two points, according to a FiveThirtyEight polling average.

DeSantis Has Priceless Reaction…

(RepublicanWire.org) – One of the first things that Charlie Crist did when he won the Democratic primary for the governor’s race in Florida was to step in it big time by insulting Floridians who might support Gov. Ron DeSantis. He told them he didn’t want their vote and claimed they had “hate in their heart.” He then dug the hole deeper with his hilarious praise of Joe Biden which isn’t going to go over well in Florida.

But Crist wasn’t finished stepping in it yet. He attacked DeSantis, “I’m not one to use those sort of strong words, unless they’re true… He’s a barbaric, wannabe dictator.” It’s hard to get someone more wrong than Charlie Crist.

One of the things that makes Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis such a perfect candidate is that, unlike Charlie Crist, he has a pitch-perfect natural response. When he was asked what he thought of Crist calling him a dictator, his response was gold, especially the dismissive little smiling head shake movement at the beginning.

“Over the last couple of years, you had people who kept wanting to lock people down, I was one of the few in this country that lifted people up,” DeSantis declared. “We protected people’s freedoms, jobs, businesses. We made sure kids could be in school, and we liberated 22 million Floridians from local mandates and restrictions. We protected them against vax mandates so they could keep working.”

DeSantis noted how the Democrats wanted to lock everyone down, “And I would note, you go back to the summer of 2020, I got a letter from every Democrat member of the U.S. House saying: ‘You need to shut down Florida,’ in July of 2020. If we had done that, this state would be in the toilet right now. We made the right decision by keeping the state open…So I think the people that are dictatorial are the ones that want to lock you down. I think the people that are dictatorial are the ones who wanted to lock kids out of school for a year, which all of them wanted to do here in Florida and I stopped it and made sure the kids could be in school…I think it’s dictatorial to say that someone should lose their job based on their choice about whether to get a COVID shot or not. So that’s just the reality.”

That letter was signed by Charlie Crist, among others. So Crist would have helped to destroy the state — if DeSantis had paid attention to Democrats.

DeSantis finished with the fact that people have been fleeing Democratic states for Florida because of that, “And the reason why we’re setting tourism records, the reason why we’re the number one state for net in-migration is because people understand that we’ve stood for freedom.”

Now that’s a priceless reaction. Unlike Crist, DeSantis is not attacking people or saying he doesn’t want their vote — he’s saying why Florida is the place to be, and why protecting people’s freedoms is the choice that should be made. Some dictator.

Indeed, DeSantis has spoken out against authoritarian regimes. DeSantis had previously said it was insulting to the people of Florida who fled real dictatorial regimes to come to Florida to refer to Florida as a dictatorial regime.

DeSantis also skewered Crist on Tucker Carlson’s show, and said it wasn’t about “hate” in people’s hearts but people’s appreciation that a governor would fight for their freedoms.

But that’s the problem with Democrats like Crist — they falsely toss around the term while not taking a look in the mirror about how they themselves are acting. It’s the Democrats who are taking steps every day down the road toward a leftist dictatorship.

Democrats Are Changing Their Tune…

(RepublicanWire.org) – As election night 2022 gets closer, Democrats fear Americans are going to hold them responsible for soaring inflation, gas, and food prices.

And while most midterm elections favor the party not in the White House, Democrats have an especially difficult uphill battle to wage.

Democrat campaign ads have more than the usual “I’m independent” edge to them this year in an attempt to distance themselves from a very unpopular president and economic calamity. 

A recent report from Fox News Digital found that the trend for Democrats across the country is to campaign on instances, real or perhaps perceived, where not only did they break with their own party and Joe Biden, but were able to work with Republicans.

Some are just adopting outright conservative positions.

Take Rep. Dan Kildee in Michigan, who touts that he “pushed to cut the gas tax and hire more police officers.” He continues in the ad saying, “And while none of this will make me popular in Washington, I’m focused on doing what’s right for Michigan.”

Inflation, military service, and law and order are also big themes for Maine Democrat Jared Golden.

Golden wants voters to think he’s very independent and stands up to his own party, which is false. He votes with Biden 86% of the time.

Far-left Pennsylvania Senate candidate and Bernie Sanders supporter John Fetterman wants you to know that Washington is the source of all your problems. 

The Washington insiders, you see, broke the supply chain and “spiked inflation.” That’s why we need to cut taxes.

Of course, Washington is entirely run by the Democrats. And they just passed a massive tax hike bill.

While running from the Democrat Party and Joe Biden, Democrat candidates are touting crossing the aisle abilities to work with Republicans. Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids has done just that.

Richards notes that she “stood up to her own party” against congressional pay raises and insider trading among Members of Congress. 

In essence, she’s unintentionally saying that the Democrats are the party of congressional pay raises and insider trading among Members of Congress. Seems like a strange thing to say, no?

Alas, Davids votes with Biden 100% of the time.

Some Democrat candidates may appear to be saying just enough to achieve that independent, not-afraid-to-against-the-party vibe, but Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur is one of the strongest to distance herself from the party.

The narrator is heard in her as saying, “Joe Biden is letting Ohio solar manufacturers be undercut by China, but Marcy Kaptur is fighting back.” Then there is the statement that Kaptur “is not working for Biden,” but is “working with Republican Rob Portman, protecting our jobs.”

As Democrats scurry to the center before the election, is it a strategy that will be successful when 70% of voters think the country is moving in the wrong direction? It may have some effect on Senate races.

The Cook Political Report has deemed several key Senate races “toss ups,” including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Arizona. Democrat strategist Kevin Walling believes that “Democrats should absolutely campaign on the Inflation Reduction Act…” 

However, Nathan Brand, spokesman for the Republican National Committee lays it out bluntly when he said, “Joe Biden is one of the least popular presidents in modern history. Democrats tout tax hikes as ‘wins,’ and Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Democrats have enriched left-wing special interests and done nothing to alleviate the pain struggling Americans face every day because of Joe Biden. Biden remains a burden to every Democrat running in November.”

DeSantis Sends Clear Message To Those Who Are Fraudulently Voting…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is cracking down on illegal voters in his state as he announced 20 arrests are coming.

The governor promised the 20 arrests of ex-felons is the start of an illegal voter crackdown, Politico reported.

“The investigation was led by the DeSantis-championed Office of Election Crimes and Security, an office created during the 2022 legislative session to focus on election fraud investigations and prosecutions. The first round, announced during a press conference in Broward County, was focused on felons who illegally voted in 2020 by either not properly applying to have their voting rights restored or were ineligible because of the severity of their crimes,” Politico said.

The governor said that some of those who are being arrested for voting illegally were convicted of crimes like rape and murder.

“This is just the first step. There are many more in the pipeline,” he said. “We are not just going to turn a blind eye to this. The days of that happening in Florida are over.”

In a press release the governor, and others in the administration, commented on the actions being taken to prevent illegal voting.

“In 2020, Florida ran an efficient, transparent election that avoided the major problems we saw in other states. At the same time, the election was not perfect, which is why we continue our efforts to ensure the integrity of our elections,” he said. “Our new election crimes office has sprung into action to hold individuals accountable for voter fraud. Today’s actions send a clear signal to those who are thinking about ballot harvesting or fraudulently voting. If you commit an elections crime, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

“I am grateful to Governor DeSantis for establishing the Office of Election Crimes and Security, and we are off to a great start at eliminating election fraud in our elections,” Secretary of State and Chief Election Officer Cord Byrd said. “These arrests put those who have no regard for the integrity of our elections on notice and will ensure integrity in the voting process.”

“Today is about our honest, hardworking, and law-abiding Floridians,” FDLE Acting Commissioner Mark Glass said. “In Florida, your vote matters.  To that end, we will do everything in our power to ensure those who cannot legally vote never cast a ballot.”

“I’m glad to be a part of a team that is working hard to secure our elections,” Director of the Office of Election Crimes and Security Peter Antonacci said. “Our team of highly skilled investigators will conduct a thorough investigation, and if any evidence of election crime is found, there will be criminal sanctions.”

But Florida Rising Executive Director Andrea Mercado complained that the governor was taking actions that make it tougher for people to vote, even as he is only taking actions against people who are not legally allowed to vote.

“No one has done more to violate the integrity of Florida’s elections and make it harder for Floridians to be part of our democracy than Ron DeSantis,” she argued. “If we had a real election integrity department, they would be arresting the governor for erasing Black districts and threatening neighbors helping neighbors cast their ballot.”

“What today shows is not that democracy is working in Florida, it’s that the offices that are trying to turn our state into one-man rule will do whatever they can to distract and deflect from how they have reduced Floridians’ ability to vote and have their voice heard,” she said.

Again, it is important to note that none of the actions taken by the governor in any way affect any Florida resident who is legally allowed to vote.

“As elected leaders, it is incumbent on us to ensure free and fair elections and instill confidence in the voting process,” Attorney General Ashley Moody said. “No voting system can stand without the backing and confidence of the people it serves, and thanks to Governor DeSantis, we are reinforcing that trust, and Florida’s elections system will serve as the standard-bearer for the rest of the nation.”

It Doesn’t Look Good For Democrats…

(RepublicanWire.org) – A new poll shows who is in the running lead for the Democrat presidential candidate if now-president Joe Biden decides not to run again for re-election in 2024. 

A NewsNation-Decision Desk HQ poll revealed that a mere 31 percent of Democrats would prefer vice president Kamala Harris to run in 2024 rather than Biden. 

On the contrary, 17 percent of Democrat voters would choose Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif). 

The poll also found that 30 percent of Democrats did not want Biden to run at all, while 61 percent of voters overall agree with Biden leaving the spotlight as well. 

Other Democrat candidates included Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) with less than 10 percent and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) at a thin 13 percent support. 

This comes after a CNN poll found that 75 percent of Democratic-leaning voters want Biden out of the Oval Office, with nearly half them having doubts that he would even have a chance of winning. 

Democrats support for the president is quickly dwindling as Americans are getting tired of paying sky high prices for groceries and gas, while also having to see the leader of the U.S. not knowing where he is half the time. 

This despite Biden repeatedly saying he will seek a second term. The almost 80 year-old has been an embarrassment and laughingstock for the country and the American people. 

His border policies have driven thousands of illegal migrants into the U.S. along with a crippling economy that Republicans have declared a recession. A change is needed and according to polls, voters are ready for a new president.

DeSantis Exposes Soros…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a warning that globalist billionaire George Soros is aggressively attempting to rig the upcoming midterm elections.

The re-election campaign of Ron DeSantis has released a Spanish-language public service announcement warning Hispanic voters that George Soros is distributing false information in order to rig the election.

Soros just founded The Latino Media Network (LMN), a new far-left organization that is buying all Spanish-language radio stations in the United States.

So far, LMN has bought 18 conservative local radio stations in the United States.

According to DeSantis’s campaign alert, “George Soros’ purchase of Hispanic radio stations meant to misinform the community.”

“The Spanish-language ‘Alerta’ ad was submitted to run on Miami radio stations (WAQI-AM and WQBA-AM) and warns listeners of the leftist motives behind his media ventures,” a statement from DeSantis declared.

“WAQI-AM and WQBA-AM were recently announced as part of the Soros-backed acquisition of Spanish Language radio.”

Foxnews.com reports: Stephanie Valencia, a former White House staffer during the Obama administration and Jess Morales Rocketto, a former Hillary for America and AFL-CIO employee, are leading the project, and say their purchase across the mass of media markets will give them “access to one-third of the Hispanic population” inside the U.S, according to an interview that was conducted by Axios.

This investment project comes as concern from Democrats who continue to grow over the party’s loss in support from large swaths of Hispanic voters.

DeSantis is warning voters about the media purchase and touts his stance against “leftist disinformation” as he continues the “fight against socialism in America.”

“Warning, voters! The Left is taking control of our local media. Billionaire George Soros, known for financing extreme leftist causes, is now financing the purchase of Hispanic radio stations right here in Miami,” the translated version of the ad says.

“They are coming with their ideological agenda,” it continues. “Soros and his minions know what this community represents in the fight against socialism in America. This community will not get confused. Under Governor Ron DeSantis’ leadership Florida is standing against the corporate media and leftist disinformation.”

“The Soros-funded radical Left is running a scheme to manipulate local media in Florida to push their Marxist agenda on voters. In Florida, we reject the professional Left and their attempt to infiltrate our state and will always stand for truth and freedom,” DeSantis said.

Democrat Pleads Guilty On Multiple Charges…

(RepublicanWire.org) – That thing that we are assured never happens, happened. Former Democrat US Rep. Michael “Ozzie” Myers has pled guilty to multiple charges related to a scheme to stuff ballot boxes for Democrat candidates between 2014 and 2018.

Myers has a checkered history, having been expelled from Congress for accepting bribes. Apparently, he didn’t learn his lesson and has been running a ring of corruption for decades.

A former congressman from Philadelphia pleaded guilty Monday to charges related to fraudulently stuffing ballot boxes for Democratic candidates between 2014 and 2018.

Federal prosecutors said former Democratic U.S. Rep. pleaded guilty to violations of election law, conspiracy, bribery and obstruction.

Messages seeking comment were left for his defense lawyers listed on the online docket.

In a sentencing memo dated Friday, federal prosecutors said his “criminal efforts were generally, although not exclusively, directed at securing election victories for local judicial candidates running for Philadelphia’s Court of Common Pleas or Municipal Court who had employed Myers as a ‘political consultant.”

According to the report, Myers bribed a judge of elections in Philidelphia to add votes to the candidates of his choice, again, all Democrats. Those bribes totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars, so this was no small operation. Further, Myers also conspired with another elections judge in a scheme to push people to vote for certain candidates. Lastly, that judge also cast votes for candidates who weren’t even on the ballot.

Whether those judges are themselves being prosecuted isn’t mentioned in the DOJ press release that Fox is basing its report on. It’s probable that they were willing to testify against Myers and may have received some kind of immunity. I would hope not, though, given how serious of a crime accepting bribes is.

Of course, the response to this will be that it happened prior to the 2020 election. But anyone who thinks this is an isolated incident in a place like Philidelphia is as naive as they come. In 2020, because of the sudden, likely illegal changes to election rules, including mass mail-in voting, ballot stuffing would have been far easier than in past elections. The idea that absolutely nothing untoward went on when ballot stuffing schemes existed in 2014-2018 is laughable, and anyone not being completely obtuse will admit that.

These major blue cities are plagued with election issues, and those in charge have no incentive to clean things up. For the foreseeable future, Republicans will have to run campaigns that run around corruption that isn’t going anywhere.

News Just Got Worse For Hillary…

(RepublicanWire.org) – The vast majority of Democrats in a new survey said they want to see 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton legitimately investigated over her reported role in a plot to ‘spy’ on GOP rival Donald Trump’s campaign and later after he won the election, his White House.

“A growing chorus of Democrats believe 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be questioned by special advisor John Durham for her alleged role in the Russian secret server scandal in a poll conducted before bombshell revelations that her team spied on Donald Trump’s campaign,” the Daily Mail reported on Sunday.

“In a poll last month, 66 percent of Democrats wanted Clinton questioned, a whopping 22 percentage points higher than how many in her party demanded a probe last October, according to TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) research,” the report noted.

“The amount of Republicans demanding answers is also swelling, rising to 91 percent in January from 80 percent last October,” the report continued. “Among the independent crowd, those wanting the former secretary of state probed rose to 74 percent from 65 percent.”

Interestingly, the most recent results came before Clinton’s campaign team was linked to a technology firm a Feb. 11 court filing by Durham claims electronically eavesdropped on servers at Trump Tower and the Executive Office of the President under Trump.

“Both polls were completed before Special Counsel John Durham last week released a bombshell report that claimed Clinton’s campaign team tried to spy on former president Trump’s computer servers in a failed attempt to tie him to Russia,” the report noted further.

Following the initial reports regarding Durham’s findings, the Washington Free Beacon reported, citing Federal Election Commission records, that President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign along with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee also used the same tech firm, Neustar Information Services, ahead of the elections.

The outlet noted:

According to Durham, Neustar’s chief technology officer, Rodney Joffe, accessed sensitive web traffic data that the company maintained on behalf of the White House executive office in order to collect “derogatory” information about Donald Trump.

Joffe allegedly provided the information to Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who in turn gave it to the CIA during a meeting in February 2017. Durham charged Sussmann in September with lying to the FBI about his investigation of Trump.

The Biden campaign’s payments raise questions about whether Joffe continued snooping on Trump in the most recent election. The Biden and Clinton campaigns are the only two presidential committees to have ever paid Neustar, according to Federal Election Commission records.

Biden’s campaign paid Neustar $18,819 on Sept. 29, 2020, the records show. The Clinton campaign paid the firm $3,000 in May 2015 for mobile phone services. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee paid $3,000 to Neustar in 2017. Neustar executives and staffers contributed $17,906 to Biden’s campaign, FEC records show.

The Free Beacon adds that it wasn’t clear whether Neustar executives were aware of Joffe’s prior work with the Clinton campaign.

Following Durham’s findings, Trump sounded the alarm over the findings which he said substantiates his many previous claims that his campaign was “spied on.”

“The latest pleading from Special Counsel Robert Durham provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia,” he said in a statement.

“This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution. In a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death. In addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this,” he added.

Supreme Court Just Killed Liberals’ Election-Stealing Dreams In AZ

The Supreme Court has largely rejected election-related lawsuits latey. So many were surprised when the high court agreed to take on a case related to Arizona’s recently-passed laws banning ballot harvesting and tightening controls over provisional ballots. Not only did the Supreme Court take on the case, but it killed liberals’ election-stealing dreams in Arizona.

USA Today reports that the case, which it calls “the most significant to deal with voting rights to come before the court since 2013,” ended with a 6-3 majority vote in favor of the state’s right to deal with ballot harvesting and other unethical behaviors loved by leftists:

Associate Justice Samuel Alito wrote the opinion for a 6-3 majority, joined by the court’s conservatives. Associate Justice Elena Kagan wrote a dissent, joined by the court’s liberals, that described the majority opinion as “tragic.”  

The case, the most significant to deal with voting rights to come before the court since 2013, dealt with two provisions of Arizona’s voting law approved long before the 2020 election. State officials passed a law in 2016 barring unions and advocacy organizations from collecting voters’ mail-in ballots, a practice that critics call “ballot harvesting.” 

Democrat stooge Elena Kagan says that the 6-3 decision is a violation of the Voting Rights Act. “What is tragic here is that the Court has (yet again) rewritten – in order to weaken – a statute that stands as a monument to America’s greatness, and protects against its basest impulses,” she says. “What is tragic is that the court has damaged a statute designed to bring about ‘the end of discrimination in voting.'”   The Left argues that these rules impact communities of color disproportionately — but that argument fizzles out once it leaves the media and enters a courtroom, where evidence can be examined responsibly.

This ruling is bad for Democrats, but good for America.
