(RepublicanWire.org) – Socialist Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York denied that government policies exacerbated inflation and instead blamed corporate greed while claiming Americans were in an “environment of fascism.”

Ocasio-Cortez made the claims while being interviewed by MSNBC host Chris Hayes on his show. She was addressing how Democrats were failing in polls ahead of the midterm elections because of the weak economy.

“Even when we talk about issues like inflation. A lot of this has to do with the massive consolidation of our markets and corporate greed,” she claimed emphatically.

“Our inflation is not going up due to government policies, inflation is going up due to Wall Street decisions,” she angrily said.

Earlier in the interview, she also said America was facing “an environment of fascism” from Republican candidates running for Congress in the midterms in reference to some citizens, mostly on the right, ostensibly guarding voter ballot boxes from voter fraud.

“There is absolutely no doubt that the data shows that the vast majority of incidents of domestic terror come from white nationalism,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“And that we are really truly facing an environment of fascism and in the United States of America,” she continued, “this type of intimidation at the polls brings us to Jim Crow, it bring us back and hearkens back to a very unique form of American apartheid that is not that long past ago. And we have never fully healed from it. And those wounds threaten to rip right back open if we do not strongly defend democracy in United States of America.”

Ocasio-Cortez was repeating a well-worn defense used by Democrats and others to try to defend President Joe Biden and his high-spending policies from those saying they made inflation worse. Polls show that Americans mostly blame Biden’s policies for inflation ahead of a key midterm election season.

Though current inflation levels were likely inevitable due to the Federal Reserve’s decade-long zero interest rate and quantitative easing policy following the 2008 recession, the creation of $5 trillion into the money supply out of thin air during COVID greatly exacerbated the inflation rate.

Though the Federal Reserve is incrementally raising interest rates, the government is still continuing to spend more than it takes in, especially as a result of the Biden regime constantly sending billions of dollars the U.S. doesn’t have to Ukraine.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Appearing with MSNBC’s Al Sharton, Hochul pushed back against Republican worries about crime only days head of the midterm elections. Hochul even referred to Republican critics at one point as “master manipulators.”

“These are master manipulators. They have this conspiracy going all across America trying to convince people in Democratic states that they’re not as safe. Well guess what? They’re also not only election deniers, they’re data deniers,” she said.

The governor blasted states with less strict gun laws and blasted her opponent, Republican Lee Zeldin, for coming from Long Island, where crime has been down.

Safer spaces today, Hochul claimed, are Democratic-controlled states.

“Safer places are the Democratic states,” she said.

Crime in New York’s subway system is up by 41% as of Oct. 17, CNN reported, citing statistics from New York Police Department.

With crime on the rise nationwide, 64% of Americans blame “woke politicians” for the issue, according to a recent Harvard-Harris poll. Fifty-two percent of Democrats, 75% of Republicans and 60% of independents blamed “woke politicians” rather than “other factors” for the nation’s historic increase in crime.

Hochul has been blasted over a remark she made during a debate with Zeldin last week, when he confronted her about the skyrocketing crime in New York, and she literally said, “I don’t know why that’s so important to you”?

Meanwhile, Zeldin tweeted Sunday evening, “Just left Borough Park. It’s clearer than ever we have all of the energy and momentum on our side, we have the issues on our side, and, in 9 Days, New Yorkers are ALL IN to FIRE Kathy Hochul, TAKE BACK our streets, and SAVE our State!”

Early voting in New York started Saturday and goes through next Sunday. The election is Nov. 8.

With the election coming down to the wire, an unconstitutional infringement was caught on video showing NYPD removing Lee Zeldin signs in Brooklyn.

(RepublicanWire.org) – During a speech on Friday evening at the “Pennsylvania Democratic Party Reception,” Biden touted his party’s success in protecting the Affordable Care Act from being dismantled during former President Donald Trump’s term.

Trump had campaigned on replacing Obamacare, though as Biden claimed Friday, Democrats campaigned hard in 2018 to prevent that from happening. In his speech, he warned that the GOP will go after their health care if they gain the congressional majority.

Two-thirds of the way through his address, Biden said, “And, of course, they’re going try for their 499th time, or whatever the number is — they’re still determined to eliminate the Affordable Care Act. And, by the way, if they do, that means — not a joke, everybody.”

Then he made his latest viral statement. “Not a joke, everybody!” Biden said with slurred speech. “That’s why we defeated it in 2018 when they tried to do it we went to 54 states.”

Conservative critics concerned with the president getting the number of states wrong, took to twitter to mock him.

Kamala Harris joined Biden Friday evening, and the joint appearance was super awkward. Kamala had to keep old Joe from falling off the stage.

Joe Biden’s mental decline continues to worsen with each passing day.

Many Americans speculate that Biden, who is the oldest president in U.S. history, is suffering from age-related dementia. He turns 80 next month.

Dr. Ronny Jackson, who served as the former White House physician under both Presidents Obama and Trump, told Fox News that he believes Biden will be forced to resign or face the 25th Amendment over issues related to his fitness for office.

“Something’s SERIOUSLY wrong with Biden,” Jackson wrote on social media. “And it’s only going to get WORSE! It’s past the point of embarrassment.”

Jackson continued, “He’s lost. He’s confused. He can barely put a coherent sentence together. He MUST have a cognitive exam and release the results!” Jackson added.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman stumbled during Tuesday’s debate with his GOP challenger, Dr. Mehmet Oz, after he was asked about prior statements he made in opposition to fracking, a process he now says he has “always supported.”

“I’ve always supported fracking and I always believe that independence with our energy is critical, and we can’t be held, you know, ransom to somebody like Russia,” Fetterman said. “I’ve always believed that energy independence is critical and I’ve always believed that — and I do support fracking, never taken any money from their industry, but I support how critical it is that we produce our energy and create energy independence.”

Pressed on the issue and how to “square” his previous comments against fracking with his current position, Fetterman said, “I do support fracking, and I don’t, I don’t — I support fracking, and I stand, and I do support fracking.”

Fetterman, currently Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, supported a complete moratorium on fracking in the state, according to an April 2016 Facebook post from Pennsylvania Voters Against Fracking.

He also said during a 2016 debate, during his first run for Senate, that he supported a fracking moratorium.

Even CNN fact checked John Fetterman, and decided Fetterman has indeed flip flopped.

In a 2018 YouTube interview, Fetterman said, “I don’t support fracking, at all, and I never have.”

“I’ve signed the no fossil fuels money pledge,” he added at the time. “I have never received a dime from any natural gas or oil company whatsoever.”

In addition, as previously reported in July, Fetterman called the Pennsylvania fracking industry a “stain” on the state and recounted his own “extremely privileged” upbringing in Reddit posts during his unsuccessful 2016 run for Senate.

“I’m not pro-fracking and have stated that if we did things right in this state, we wouldn’t have fracking,” Fetterman wrote in one Reddit post. “The industry is a stain on our state and natural resources. But yes, of course I worry about the viability of getting a ban on fracking done when the industry is already so entrenched in Pennsylvania,” he said, adding that he had “signed the Food and Water Watch’s pledge to end Fracking.”

Contrary to previous remarks he had offered related to fracking, Fetterman and his campaign have walked back his past support for anti-fossil fuel leasing policies.

“John does not support a fracking moratorium or ban. If you were paying attention to our campaign, you would have known this has not been his position for years and that he was attacked in the primary over his support of fracking,” Fetterman campaign spokesperson Joe Calvello told Fox News Digital in a July email. “In fact, throughout his career John has stood up to politicians to fight for U.S. Steel’s right to build fracking wells.”

“John believes that we have to preserve the union way of life for the thousands of workers currently employed or supported by the natural gas industry in Pennsylvania and the communities where they live,” he added.

Many weighed in to voice their concerns on Fetterman’s well being.

Fetterman, who suffered a near-fatal stroke in May, said in his opening remarks that he might miss words during the debate due to his ongoing auditory processing recovery.

(RepublicanWire.org) – President Joe Biden had another awkward moment during an interview that MSNBC aired Friday: “When asked if the first lady supports a 2024 run, Biden nodded and paused before providing a full answer. ‘My wife thinks that we’re doing something very important and that I shouldn’t walk away from it,’ he said.

In a conversation with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart about (ironically) his plans to run for a second term, Biden’s eyelids drooped and he started nodding off, creating an embarrassing pause. It prompted Capehart to smile awkwardly and say “Mr. President…” and then “ope!” as Biden’s eyes fluttered open.

It’s not the first time Biden has appeared to fall asleep in the course of his presidential duties.

During a climate summit in November 2021, Biden’s nap was so obvious even the corporate media couldn’t explain it away.

The Washington Post admitted that Biden “was the oldest person to be sworn into office and has faced questions from his own party about whether he should seek reelection, due partly to his age,” but then proceeded to explain why “the reemergence of former president Donald Trump” necessitated another Biden run.

In a curt summary of the exchange, NBC News reported that “Biden indicated first lady Jill Biden is supportive of a potential second term.” CNN and The New York Times offered similarly under-informative reports.

That’s quite the change of tune from the four years of the Trump presidency in which left-wing journalists invented opportunity after opportunity to cast doubt on that president’s mental dexterity.

(RepublicanWire.org) – With President Joe Biden’s popularity still close to a historic low, Democratic candidates who want a big name supporting their campaigns are reaching out to his predecessor, Barack Obama. Unfortunately for them, Obama is turning them away. The former president says his presence energizes Republicans — but is the real reason that he sees a disaster coming and doesn’t want to be linked to it?

November’s midterm elections are just weeks away, and a lot of Democratic candidates are nervous. Many of them are looking for party heavyweights to give their campaigns a boost, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is a divisive figure, and President Biden’s approval rating is staying at or below 40%.

Candidates who want a backer that voters might actually like are begging former President Obama for his support — but Obama wants to take a “limited and careful” approach, according to CNN, and plans to turn down those requests.

People close to Obama say he believes “his presence fires up GOP opposition just as much as it lights up supporters” and it’s more helpful for him to stay away from individual campaigns, but former political strategist Steve Bannon has a different theory. He says Obama is predicting an electoral disaster for the Democrats and “doesn’t want the stench of defeat on him.”

(RepublicanWire.org) – In a Tucker Carlson exclusive, former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski told the Fox News host that he presented evidence to the FBI that the Bidens committed multiple felonies but FBI agent Timothy Thibault, who ran point on the investigation, never followed up with him or his lawyers.

Bobluinski then told Carlson, “If Facebook or Twitter had reached out to me and asked if the email The New York Post published was real, within five minutes if anyone reached out, I would have produced the email.”

Bobulinski was so convinced that what he had on the Bidens would put them both away, that he challenged CNN’s Jake Tapper to bring him in for an hour-long interview. “I’ll come for an interview, I’ll come for an hour, you can be as aggressive as you want to be with me. You can call me a liar, you can attack the facts. The good news is, it’s just not my word against the Bidens. I have thousands of documents, text messages, WhatsApp conversations, recordings of the sitting President of the United States in his own voice and I’d love to have that debate,” Bobulinski told Carlson.

Bobulinski then told Carlson that Joe Biden’s brother called him in the middle of his interview with the FBI on October 23 during the 2020 election. He says the agents then got out of their chairs and left the room but there was no one on the line when he answered. It was the last communication Tony Bobulisnki had with the Biden family.

(RepublicanWire.org) – On CBS Evening News Monday anchor Norah O’Donnell and senior White House correspondent Ed O’Keefe reported on President Joe Biden’s disastrous interview with 60 Minutes Sunday. As part of the report, O’Keefe noted how many of Biden’s statements needed to be corrected or clarified by his handlers afterward.

Biden was such a trainwreck that O’Donnell opened with this stunning report: “there is fallout tonight after President Biden’s interview with 60 Minutes, comments he made about the pandemic, led stocks of three COVID vaccine makers to plunge, shares falling as much as nine percent.”

“President Biden’s conclusion on 60 Minutes Sunday that the COVID pandemic has ended prompted push-back from health experts and clarifications from top officials,” O’Keefe noted.

“Make no mistake, people are still dying. And what the President is saying is that we all want to get back to where we were before COVID,” Health and Human Services Secretary, Xavier Becerra stated.

CBS aired a soundbite of Fauci attempting to revive the pandemic by claiming “it is likely that we will see another variant emerge, and there’s already on the horizon.”

Biden was also asked about whether he plans to run for reelection.

“You say that it’s much too early to make that decision. I take it the decision has not been made in your own head,”  Pelley remarked.

Biden said, “look, my intentions I said to begin with is that I would run again, but it’s just an intention.

Is it a firm decision, that I’d run again? That remains to be seen.

O’Keefe ended by reporting that “the President also told 60 Minutes the U.S. Military would defend Taiwan against a quote unprecedented attack from China.”

“White House officials later clarified U.S. White House policy towards Taiwan hasn’t changed. The Chinese called the President’s comments, well they said they sent the wrong signal,” O’Keefe noted before tossing back to O’Donnell.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer D-N.Y., and six other Democratic senators were spotted dining at Trattoria Alberto, a swanky Italian restaurant in Washington, on Monday evening, and the group was talking loud enough to be heard by other patrons, according to Punchbowl News. Schumer reportedly expressed confidence that Democrats would keep the Senate come November but said Republicans had a 60% chance of taking the House.

“During the dinner, Schumer let loose on a whole range of topics. Schumer spoke loudly, and his remarks were overheard by other patrons in the restaurant — and confirmed by multiple sources,” Punchbowl reported.

The other Democratic senators who were at dinner with Schumer when he made these comments were Delaware’s Chris Coons and Tom Carper, Arizona’s Mark Kelly, Maryland’s Chris Van Hollen, Colorado’s John Hickenlooper and Illinois’ Dick Durbin.

Schumer’s doubts about the Democratic majority in the House are a stark contrast to Pelosi’s own comments on Tuesday, in which she indicated a belief that Democrats will actually add to their House majority.

But Schumer’s comments at his Monday night dinner did not sound as confident as Pelosi’s speculation that Democrats will keep control of the House.

Punchbowl also reported on Schumer’s various other comments overheard at the dinner, regarding upcoming elections, as well as the current political landscape.

In regards to elections and political offices, the Schumer allegedly said that he believes former President Donald Trump will run again in 2024; Kevin McCarthy, the current House Minority Leader, “sucks up” to Trump; Democrats don’t look likely to win the Iowa Senate race; and Arizona’s Senate race will get more closely contested if Peter Thiel, a tech billionaire, decides to start pouring money into boosting Republican candidate Blake Masters.

On more current issues not directly related to the elections, Schumer also reportedly criticized Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia for saying that taxation was like “inflation” for wealthy Americans. Punchbowl reported that Schumer called that “ridiculous.”

Schumer also reportedly blamed former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for Democrats’ failure to gain more House seats during the redistricting in New York.

Though the overheard discussion reportedly covered a broad range of topics, it seemed to come at a crucial time in light of Pelosi’s comments and the status of congressional races throughout the country.

(RepublicanWire.org) – Last week, Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake masterfully turned the tables on a reporter who thought he was asking her a gotcha question about accepting the results of an election.

“You feel like Joe Biden is dividing the country. Do you feel Donald Trump is doing the same by falsely telling people he won that election when he lost it?” the reporter asked.

“How does that divide the country? Questioning an election where there are obviously problems is dividing the country?” she asked. “Since when can we not ask questions about our elections? As a journalist for many years—I was a journalist after 2016 and I distinctly remember many people just like you, asking a lot of questions about the 2016 election results and nobody tried to shut you up.”

Lake was hardly finished tearing this reporter a new one.

“Nobody tried to tell Hillary Clinton to shut up. Nobody tried to tell Kamala Harris when she was questioning the legitimacy of these electronic voting machines to stop. We have freedom of speech in this country and you of all that people should appreciate that. You’re supposedly a journalist. You should appreciate that. So I don’t see how asking questions about an election where there were many problems is ‘dividing’ a country. What I do see divided a country is shutting people down, censoring people, canceling people, trying to destroy people’s lives when they do ask questions. Last I heard we still have the Constitution. It’s hanging by a thread thanks to some of the work some people in this area have done. But we’re going to save that Constitution and we’re going to bring back freedom of speech. And maybe someday you’ll thank us for that.”
