GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Warns Biden Time Is Up…

(RepublicanWire.org) – GOP gubernatorial candidate in Arizona Kari Lake went on CBS’ Face the Nation to tell President Joe Biden time is up and he has failed at the border. She said she will form a compact with other states to enforce the border laws if Biden will not.

Major Garrett started by saying, “your website is detailed and specific on the question of immigration and border security. You call, if elected as governor, for Arizona to join other states to form what you call a compact to carry out border security separate from the federal government, including arrest and detention. For the benefit of Arizona voters, can you explain the legal and practical application of this approach?”

Lake expalined, “well, of course, if you know the Constitution, you know that Article 4, Section 4 calls for the federal government to protect us from invasion, and under Joe Biden’s lack of leadership, we just aren’t seeing that. And we have an invasion at our border, the cartels, these Narco terrorist groups have operational control.

And they’re using Arizona to smuggle people, to traffic children and to traffic the most dangerous drug we’ve ever seen, fentanyl. 

And so we’re going to invoke our Article One, Section 10, basically, authority to take care of our own border and protect our own border. It’s right there in black and white in the Constitution.

And we meet all three criteria, we have an invasion, our people are in imminent danger, and time is of the essence. There’s no time for delay.

So we’re going to have other states offer help. I’ve already got a couple other governors who are willing to help out.

And I know that if you ask people in other states that are not border states, they deem this crisis on the border as one of the top issues facing our country–

Major Garrett said, “would Arizona?”

Lake continued, “with young people dying of fentanyl poisoning right now.”

Major Garrett asked again, “would Arizona go it alone if it didn’t get this compact agreement with other states?”

Lake answered, “yes, we will. But I believe we will get help. I’ve already talked to some other governors and they’re- they’re vowing to help us out wherever they can, because they realize that what comes into Arizona, fentanyl, people coming here illegally, children being trafficked, doesn’t stay in Arizona, it goes to all 50 states. And I just spoke last week to a mother and father who lost their son. And it’s just tragic. We’re losing more people to fentanyl in Arizona, since Joe Biden took office than we lost in 9/11 or during COVID.”

LeBron James Makes Disgraceful Comment…

(RepublicanWire.org) – NBA superstar LeBron James bashed the United States in favor of Russia as he has suggested that a WNBA player, who is in custody in Moscow on drug charges, may as well decide not to return to America.

This isn’t the first time James has made openly woke, anti-American comments – although he was known to be fond of the leadership of Communist China, where he sells basketball shoes – even as he already has a fortune of more than $1 billion.

As he bashed America to the benefit of Putin’s Russia, a modern-day fascist dictatorship currently invading its democratic neighbor Ukraine, LeBron James was referring to the case of Brittney Griner.

Griner, also known for her woke stance since 2020, which has included disrespecting the US national anthem, was detained at an airport in Moscow as she was leaving Russia after offseason games.

Griner was arrested on February 17 on allegations of drug possession and trafficking. A week before, on February 24, Putin attacked Ukraine with 200,000 troops and started the most significant war in Europe since World War II.

Earlier this month, Griner pleaded guilty to the Russian charges and faces a 10-year prison sentence. The US government hasn’t been able to do much to get her out of Russia, primarily due to the high tensions with Moscow stemming from the invasion of Ukraine.

At the same time, however, she and her lawyers’ decision to plead guilty is believed to be due to preparing a prisoner swap with the Russians.

According to a report in The New York Times, the Putin regime wants to exchange her for Viktor Bout, a very dangerous rogue Russian arms dealer known as the “merchant of death,” serving a 25-year sentence in a US prison.

Against this complicated backdrop, LeBron James openly accused the US government of not doing enough to get Griner released and out of Russia. He spoke on the HBO show “The Shop: Uninterrupted.”

“How can she feel like America has her back? I would be feeling like, ‘Do I even want to go back to America?’” James stated. His apparent insult to America hinted that Putin’s Russia might be better than the United States.

In 2018, LeBron James made a scandalous statement against the NFL and “old white men” whom he portrayed as slave masters.

“In the NFL, they got a bunch of old white men owning teams, and they got that slave mentality,” the basketball billionaire said back then.

Biden Blames Republicans For Economic Problems…

(RepublicanWire.org) – President Joe Biden published a tweet blaming Republicans for “obstructing” solutions to the country’s economic problems.

“Republicans are doing nothing but obstructing our efforts to crack down on gas-price gouging, lower food prices, lower healthcare costs, and hopefully, soon, lower your prescription drug costs. This is not right. And that’s why this election is going to be so darn important,” Biden tweeted.

Biden’s tweet quickly drew criticism, with Scott Jennings, a contributor for CNN and Bush White House alumnus tweeting in response to Biden’s statements: “88% wrong track + 38% job approval rating = good f’ing luck with this BS.”

Many critics also pointed out Biden’s inconsistencies with who is to blame, with DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw tweeting, “I thought it was the Putin Price Spike.”

Talk radio host Mark Zinno shared a similar retort, “Huh? I thought it was Russia’s fault,” he tweeted.

Biden’s policies also got serious flack, with conservative activist Scott Pressler tweeting: “@JoeBiden On day 1, you canceled our pipeline. You fired workers with your illegal, unconstitutional vaccine mandate. We have fewer healthcare workers because you forced them to choose between their jobs & a mandated medical procedure. You gave $54 billion to Ukraine, but forgot US.”

But it was Kimberly Morin’s, a conservative political writer, response that called out Biden’s hypocrisy most. Morin tweeted: “Americans know the TRUTH Big Guy. No one is buying your blame game. YOU and Democrats OWN INFLATION. Your policies are making it FAR Worse.”

In June 2020, Biden promised to take responsibility “unlike this president,” a jab he made toward then President Donald Trump.

Biden tweeted, “It’s hard to believe this has to be said, but unlike this president, I’ll do my job and take responsibility. I won’t blame others. And I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you.”

But since being elected, Biden has searched for a scapegoat for his shortcomings, first pointing the finger at the previous administration, then Russia — in particular, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin — and now, Republicans.

DeSantis Makes Savage Comment About Biden…

(RepublicanWire.org) – DeSantis didn’t hold back while speaking to a crowd recently. He told the crowd, the Mexican drug cartels should make Biden an honorary member for his open border policy that has allowed them to expand the amount of drugs they bring into the country.

DeSantis signed a bill into law that would stiffen the penalty for fentanyl. The penalties for trafficking fentanyl in Florida will increase to three years to seven years for 4-14 grams, and fifteen to twenty years for 14-28 grams. Fentanyl is much more deadly than heroin and it can be brought into the country from Mexico through our porous border. It only takes a small amount to cause death.

DeSantis said, “Floridians of all walks of life have witnessed the destruction caused by the opioid epidemic across our state. While the Biden administration has failed to stop the flow of dangerous drugs, including fentanyl, across our southern border, we are taking action in Florida to lower both the demand and the supply of illicit and illegal drugs.”

DeSantis continued with, “If you look at what’s going on at the southern border right now. I don’t think we’ve ever seen anything like this, with the massive numbers of people that are coming across the border illegally. It’s fueling a massive infusion of fentanyl into this country.”

This Deadly Pandemic Being Ignored by Democrats…

(RepublicanWire.org) – What if a significant tool in the hands of law enforcement and prosecutors was allowed to expire when a legislative fix was possible?

Last week, the Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl Act was blocked from a vote by House Democrats. This HALT Fentanyl Act, sponsored by Representatives Morgan Griffith (R-VA) and Kat Cammack (R-FL), would make permanent the ban on fentanyl-related substances first issued in February 2018, set to expire February 2022. This was specifically requested in the Department of Justice written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee in June 2019. If Congress failed to act, the joint statement from Amanda Liskaam, director of Opioid Enforcement and Prevention Efforts, and Greg Cherundolo, CEO of the DEA’s Office of Global Enforcement, included the reality that “savvy clandestine manufacturers and traffickers [would] respond to the re-emerging gap in US law by again producing novel fentanyl-like substances.”

Fentanyl analogues and fentanyl-related substances are the precursors to the fake fentanyl mixed up by enterprising drug dealers in their makeshift home chemistry labs, and the HALT Fentanyl Act would permanently label them as substances with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. The key in the legislative solution kept from a vote by Democrats is to equip agents to target the specific chemical companies manufacturing the essential ingredients. Current laws allow producers to change their recipes and skirt the law, whipping up a deadly drug that is estimated to be 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin. Ingesting as little as two milligrams, about the size of five grains of salt, can produce trouble breathing, dizziness and disorientation, and even overdose, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

The soft-on-crime Democrats can’t be bothered with the open border, the known movement of these powerful substances from China, or any attempt to assist with efforts to stop the flow of substances that are destroying lives, livelihoods, and entire communities. They are too busy keeping businesses monitored for COVID-related “safety” and fearmongering about a virus that is becoming as endemic as influenza. While public health is permitting itself to be weaponized by the political Left, a pandemic that kills almost all of its victims, wrecks families, and destroys lives is being ignored.

In a February 3 article, investigative journalist Sara Carter reports, “Between May 2020 and April 2021 more than a hundred thousand overdose deaths occurred in the United States — an increase of nearly 30 percent over the previous year.” Looking at projections using data through June 2021, that number was expected to reach 101,263 in a rolling 12-month average.

These counterfeited potent substances are coming almost exclusively from China and being moved into the U.S. across Joe Biden’s wide-open southern border. Carter points out how the Biden administration has failed on two fronts: dealing with illegal immigration and the drug cartels and dealing with the Chinese. She reports that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized a record-breaking 11,201 pounds of fentanyl in 2021. In the first three months of fiscal year 2022, more than 2,700 pounds were seized — almost as much as the 2,804 pounds seized during the entirety of 2019.

While Democrats fixate on COVID as most are building their own immunity to a virus that will be with us annually, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her lockstep followers blocked a vote that has been bipartisan in years past. Every single Democrat attorney general added their names in 2018 and 2019 requesting that Congress pass legislation to do just as the HALT Fentanyl Act proposes.

As the peddlers of this deadly poison mix their million-dollar product in Magic Bullet blenders (literally), Americans die, and our law enforcement officers are exposed, many times unknowingly, to the same drugs that kill the addicted. The Biden administration, Nancy Pelosi’s House, and Chuck Schumer’s Senate are proving what we’ve seen for years: Democrats stand against our law enforcement, choose power politics over principled policies, and work the press to ensure their crisis-of-the-day prevails.
