Lori Lightfoot Plays Race Card…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Lori Lightfoot is on the cusp of being the first Chicago mayor defeated in 40 years so the failed mayor played her last desperate card.

Lori said if the rise in crime that will doom her: “This is a national phenomenon, if the person who’s scared in my city it doesn’t matter what’s happening anywhere else.

“Of course, you can’t have lived through what we lived through and say I did everything perfect.

“We made mistakes.

“I remember Rahm Emanuel appearing on the cover of Time magazine, the headline was basically like: ‘Tough guy for Chicago.

“No woman or woman of color is ever going to get that headline.” 

According to Politico here grating style turned off even her Dem allies:

“But a sitting mayor — particularly one with as much, yes, clout as the one in Chicago wields — should not be at risk of missing a runoff.

“That she is, her allies and adversaries alike say, is because she’s alienated so many Democrats with her mercurial style.

“Take Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, the billionaire Democrat who’s eager to both bring the Democratic convention to Chicago in 2024 and continue his political climb thereafter.

“The affable Hyatt heir would, you’d think, be eager to nurture a relationship with a mayor who, as a gay Black woman, represents three of the party’s core demographics.

”But the two have clashed so often that Pritzker has stayed out of the mayoral race so far and Lightfoot has made no attempt to repair their relationship.

“Nor, I’m told, has she made any effort to personally solicit support from Chicago’s own Barack Obama or the current Democrat in the White House.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot Tries To Deflect Her Issues Elsewhere…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot was swiftly ridiculed for decrying the mass shooting in Colorado, while her own city is plagued with rampant gang violence and fatal shootings. 

The Democratic mayor responded to the deadly shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado, where five people were killed and dozens were injured, by saying that it made her “sick.”

“I’m sick of this s—. How many people need to be murdered? How many lives torn apart? Until it actually stops? We don’t have to live like this. And we don’t have to die like this,” she wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

This past weekend at least 20 people were shot and three were killed in gang-related shootings in the Windy City, according to local news outlet ABC7.

Lightfoot’s tweet was quickly ratioed, with Twitter users calling on the mayor to address her own city’s problems with violence.

Conservative radio host Dan O’Donnell tweeted, “I’m not sure, but it seems like you might be in a position to do something about murders in Chicago.

Others mocked the mayor’s seemingly tone-deaf tweet.

Conservative pundit and talk show host Dave Rubin called her a clown.

Journalist Siraj Hashmi reminded the mayor, “My sister in Islam, you’re literally the mayor of Chicago.”

Former ESPN sportscaster Jeannine Edwards also wondered where the Democrat’s outrage was for the murders in her own city.

“Where is your outrage at the dozens of murders in our city every week? Gangs and criminals are running the place…not you,” Edwards tweeted.

(RepublicanWire.org) – According to a reporter who covers Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot – the mayor of one of the most violent cities in the United States of America – a lawsuit alleges Lightfoot went berserk berating staff in obscene terms over a Christopher Columbus statue, and while throwing a profanity-laced tirade told the staffers “My dick is bigger than yours and the Italians, I have the biggest dick in Chicago.”

Big City Politics may not be for the weak of heart. Still, even by the disgusting verbal discourse of this period in American history, Lightfoot’s disgusting mouth astonished her staff and resulted in the lawsuit.

The lawsuit for defamation has been filed by a former Park District attorney who Lightfoot challenged by screaming, “Did you even go to law school? Do you even have a law license?”

Insiders report that Lightfoot is well-known around Chicago City Hall for her foul-mouth and belligerence.

Meanwhile, citizens groups wonder when Lightfoot will get around to getting tough on crime in Chicago – a city that sees dozens of shootings every week and often dozens of fatalities resulting from those shooting sprees.

Breaking: 21 Shot; 5 Dead…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Even in the cold of winter, the bloody carnage on the streets of Chicago does not slow down.

So far on this holiday weekend, 21 residents of Chicago have been shot and five are dead.

According to Breitbart:

“Twenty-one people were shot, five of them fatally, during the weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

“Breitbart News noted three people were shot and killed between Friday evening and Sunday morning alone, and there were 12 shooting injuries during that early part of the weekend as well.

“By Monday morning ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times / WLS reported two additional shooting deaths for the weekend and numerous more shot and wounded.”

Among the shot and killed are a man who was fatally shot inside a house and another man who was shot and killed while sitting in a vehicle.

According to recently released statistics from the Chicago Police Department, 797 homicides occurred in Chicago in 2021. That made 2021 the deadliest year the city has experienced in a quarter-century.

There are no signs that the record-high murder rate in Chicago will be reduced this year.

[BREAKING] – Chicago Police Dispatcher Tells Mayor Lightfoot What We Are All Thinking…

(RepublicanWire.org) – A Chicago police dispatcher just slammed Mayor Lori Lightfoot for allowing his city to become a “death zone” because of understaffing and the lack of police in certain areas. 

Keith Thornton Jr. was once praised by Mayor Lightfoot for his quick thinking and heroic work while on the job. But recently he release a video condemning the mayor along with other city officials like the Superintendent of Police David Brown.

After describing areas of the city as “death zones,” he criticized the mayor for not caring about the police in her city. He said that she has failed to protect Chicago residents, especially those who live in the 16th district, also known as the Jefferson Park district.  

In the Facebook video, Thornton said, “Today we’re talking about the northwest side of Chicago, and this was brought to my attention by several of my officers who have texted me, ‘OK’ and said that they were scared. They’re tired of this nonsense. They have no backing and they’re scared of being out there by themselves, working in the 16th District. We’re talking about the 16th District.”

It was reported by CWBC Chicago that the Jefferson Park district was staffed by 268 officers when David Brown became the Superintendent of Police in April of 2020. But now there are just 229 police officers assigned to the same district, according to the Chicago Office of Inspector General.

Thornton said that the 16th District is so short-staffed right now that when you call 9-1-1, you do not get a quick response like other parts of the city. He said that officers are not coming to you because they can’t be assigned cars and there are just too few officers in those neighborhoods. 

“And I’m not talking about a dog running or barking or a car alarm going off or, ‘Hey, this guy’s parked in my handicapped spot. I’m talking about females being beaten. Shootings — a shooting came up a few days ago and we couldn’t even get a unit over there. A unit could not even get to that scene until 10 plus minutes later because there was no one,” he claimed.

This video from Thornton came on the same day that the Chicago Tribune reported an increase in violence in parts of the city that are known to be dangerous. The Tribune said that carjackings continued to increase in the city and that children, seniors, and transit workers found themselves to be victims even in areas not previously known for violence. 

There has been a review of the last two years that coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic. It reveals a significant increase in both homicides and shootings across the city. There is more than a 60% increase in both categories.

Thornton believes that Lightfoot simply doesn’t care about areas like the 16th district and that she only cares about herself. In fact, he said that the mayor not only doesn’t care about police officers, but she also doesn’t care about first responders and city workers. He said it doesn’t matter if you are white, black, Asian, Hispanic, straight, gay, Democrat, or Republican. “All that lady cares about is her f***ing self,” Thornton said. 

He closed his video saying that he prayed that she would watch it because she is a disgrace and he is tired of it. He added that the city is tied as well. Ironically, he also said that he knew the mayor didn’t like him, but that he loved the mayor. But he reiterated that he was tired of her and she was an absolute disgrace to everyone in the city.

Thornton challenged the people of his city to come together because the city was burning. His last words were that the city should come together because this is “bull s***. Good night.”
