Biden Stumbled His Way Through His Response…

(RepublicanWire.org) – President Joe Biden declared on Thursday that there’s “nothing there” when it comes to the discovery of classified documents in several locations, including his home. Irritated at being asked about the controversy, Biden was also adamant that he had “no regrets” in regard to his actions.

The president was in California, touring areas recently impacted by a series of winter storms when a reporter called out a question about the discovery of classified documents in his possession and Biden was clearly irked when asked if he had any regrets.

“You know, the only — I will answer the question, but here’s the deal: You know, what quite frankly bugs me is that we have a serious problem here we’re talking about. We’re talking about what’s going on. And the American people don’t quite understand why you don’t ask me questions about that,” he said. “But having said that, what’s your question?”

The reporter then asked, “Do you have any regret, sir, that you did not reveal the existence of the documents back in November, before the midterms?”

The initial discovery took place days before the midterm elections, yet the White House sat on this information for two months before disclosing it to the American people — what impact it may have had on the election outcome is unknown at this point.

“Just hang on, okay? Look, as we found — we found a handful of documents that were filed in the wrong place,” Biden replied. “We immediately turned them over to the Archives and the Justice Department. We’re fully cooperating and looking forward to getting this resolved quickly.”

“I think you’re going to find there’s nothing there. I have no regrets,” he continued. “I’m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. It’s exactly what we’re doing. There is no there there.”

He stumbled his way through his response, making no effort to disguise the fact that he was reading from a prepared statement.

Newsom Isn’t Living Up To His Promise…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Appearing with guest-host Gregg Jarrett on Fox News’s “Hannity” on Wednesday, San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond noted that Border Patrol can only detain the asylum seekers for so long before they are forced to release them into the interior of the United States.

“These people are bewildered,” Desmond said of the migrants. “They don’t have any money for tickets or means of figuring out a system to get to family or get in touch with their loved ones. You know, they’re just dropping them off.”

“‘Tis the season, there’s no room at the inn,” he said, referring to the county’s already full shelters.

“We’re at max capacity,” Desmond said. “And so Border Patrol is just dropping people at transit centers and saying, ‘see you later, good luck.’”

In his inauguration speech in January 2019, California Governor Gavin Newsom vowed that the Golden State would be a “sanctuary to all who seek it.”

“We will not have one house for the rich and one for the poor, or one for the native-born and one for the rest,” he grandly stated. “We will build one house for one California.”

But according to Desmond, Newsom isn’t living up to that promise.

“Governor Newsom has invited them all. So we got them,” he said. “But we’re not getting any help from the state government either. So we’re at capacity, and it’s just terrible for these people.”

Even Newsom knows he can’t deliver.

As BizPac Review reported, Newsom took a trip to the state’s border with Mexico and stated that California’s current system of coping with the swarm of migrants his own progressive policies have encouraged will “break” when Title 42 — a policy implemented by former President Donald Trump that requires asylum seekers to stay in Mexico while their case is being reviewed — is lifted.

New California To Become 51st State…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Americans in the state of California have had enough of the corrupt anti-American actions the unconstitutional leaders of the state continue to take.  These patriots are tired of policies that the leadership in the state takes to help China and the cartels while destroying the state and the country.  They’ve had enough.

These multiple unconstitutional anti-American actions taken by the far-left and now communist acting leaders of the state are too much.  The state cannot continue with policies of open borders, high crime, massive spending, and corrupt elections.  Because of all this, the state of New California was formed.

The leadership of the new state of California has held numerous meetings over the past few years.  They ultimately decided to use the West Virginia model to create a new state which is made up of numerous counties in the current state of California.

During the Civil War a group of patriots that wanted to side with the Union, broke off from Virginia Democrats and created their own state.  This model was adopted by the patriots in California more than a century later.  In the 1860s America was in a Civil War.  In the 2020s America is being destroyed from the inside by a different group of Democrats with no regard for the US Constitution.

Last Friday the participants working towards statehood for the new state held another meeting.  This meeting was special.  The New California State Senate and Assembly both approved the Emergency Ordinance For The Reorganization Of The State Of California Government.

From the first paragraph of their Emergency Ordinance, the new state members write:

“We the People of the State of California by their Delegates assembled do ordain as follows:
A Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State for the State of California shall be appointed by this body to discharge the duties and exercise the powers which pertain to their respective offices by the existing laws of the State under the Constitution of 1849/50 as approved by the United States Congress at the time of statehood, and to continue in office for six months, or until their successors be elected and qualified. The General Assembly is required to provide by law for an election of Governor and Lieutenant Governor by the people as soon as in their judgment such election can be properly held.”

The vote was unanimous in both houses of the new state.  The Senate deliberated and discussed the merits of the Ordinance at length.

While the rest of the country struggles to decide what to do about the corrupt actors that have taken over their states and locked in elections through fraudulent means into perpetuity, this group is using the West Virginia model to create a new state that abides by the US Constitution. 

This could get interesting.

Rules For Thee, But Not Gavin Newsom…

(RepublicanWire.org) – California Governor Gavin Newsom spoke at an event in Texas over the weekend, apparently disregarding a California law that prohibits government travel to the state. 

Texas is one of 22 states in which California state government travel is prohibited, because it has deemed them to have “discriminatory laws.” In 2017, this measure went into effect in California, as the state first took action due to North Carolina’s measures to keep people who identify as transgender out of certain bathrooms. 

The law bans entities such as “a state agency, department, board, authority, or commission, including an agency, department, board, authority, or commission of the University of California, the Board of Regents of the University of California, or the California State University, and the Legislature” from “requiring any of its employees, officers, or members to travel to a state that” following June 26, 2015, “voids or repeals, or has the effect of voiding or repealing, existing state or local protections against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression,” along with other clarifications.

The attorney general is in charge of publishing a list of the states that are under the “travel ban” online, per the AG’s website on the matter. 

Currently included on the list are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Texas, Utah, North Carolina, Montana, as well as others. 

Newsom has created speculation that he is planning to run for president as he continually goes after Republican-led states and Republican politicians, specifically states that have taken action to protect unborn lives. 

He recently took out 18 billboards promoting California for abortion in Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Texas, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Oklahoma, all of which are on the state’s banned list. 

Some pointed out this summer that Newsom took a vacation to Montana, one of the states on the banned list. His representatives said he was not in violation as it was a personal matter. However, he did bring security personnel along with him. 

Newsom is not a person known for playing by his own rules, notoriously being caught maskless at an elitist dinner summit at the ritzy French Laundry while the rest of California was locked down, and then sent his own kids to private schools that reopened while students in California’s public schools were forced to continue distance learning, contributing to the massive learning loss that American families are now facing with their children.

Newsom Guilt Trips Liberal Elites…

Gavin Newsom is begging the Hollywood film industry to bring back production moved to Oklahoma and Georgia amid pandemic lockdowns and rising crime, criticizing the Republican-controlled states over policies against abortion in a new ad published in Variety, according to Fox News.

It appears that Newsom is trying to guilt trip the Liberal Elites over at Tinsel Town with a new campaign ad titled: “Hollywood: Your Values, Your Choice,” suggesting that they are now supporting two states who have strict pro-life viewpoints.

“California is the best place in America to create. For 100 years, we’ve been the home for storytelling and storytellers. Together we built a creative community that includes unrivaled cast, crews, craftspeople, infrastructure, and technology. Robust tax credits and other incentives. The best culture,” the ad says. “Most importantly, we share your values. So now, it’s time to choose.”

“Over the past several years, the legislatures of states like Georgia and Oklahoma have waged a cruel assault on essential rights,” Newsom, who is reportedly quietly considering a 2024 presidential run, wrote. “Now, in the wake of the Supreme Court’s abhorrent decision overturning Roe v. Wade, those same states are quickly moving to strip reproductive freedoms.”

Newsom seems to be dangling a $1.65 billion carrot to entice the Hollywood elite to head back to the not so “Golden State”. This program, California’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program, set to expire, allocates $330 million per year in tax credits for the industry should Newsom extend it. You scratch my back, I scratch yours seems to be the 1920 mafia-style Hollywood mentality out West, so why not?

“As other states roll back people’s rights, California will continue to protect fundamental freedoms for all and welcome businesses that stand up for their employees,” Newsom said in a statement. “Extending this program will help ensure California’s world-renowned entertainment industry continues to drive economic growth with good jobs and a diverse, inclusive workforce.”

But it looks like Hollywood might already be off to a flying start in the Orange State as Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp had already announced on Monday that film and television production generated $4.4 billion in the state this fiscal year.

Four of the top six spots for highest domestic-grossing movies were filmed in Georgia: “Avengers: Endgame,” “Spider-Man: No Way Home, “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” according to Fox News.

Just like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis did, Kemp focused on the economy over politics. “When the pandemic struck, we worked hard in Georgia to communicate with our partners in the Georgia film, TV, and streaming industries,” Kemp said in a statement. “Together, we forged a safe and appropriate path to allow the film industry to return to operations and deliver Georgia Made productions to eager consumers all around the world – even when some states continued to stay shut down and stifle the industry’s return to normalcy.”

Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt also reacted to Newsom’s ad in a tongue-in-cheek statement, saying he was “happy to name Gavin Newsom Oklahoma’s Economic Developer of the Year Award in 2021, and I’m glad to see he’s making a run for two years in a row,” according to a statement reported by the New York Times.

“Instead of attacking strong conservative leadership in red states like Oklahoma, perhaps Gavin Newsom should focus on addressing his state’s income tax, which is the highest in the nation, out-of-control energy costs, endless violent crime, people shooting up drugs in the streets, chronic homelessness, high cost of living, gridlock traffic, and rolling blackouts,” Stitt’s spokeswoman added in a statement to Fox News Digital. “If he needs pointers on how to actually run a state, he should give Governor Stitt a call.”

Democrats Losing California…

(RepublicanWire.org) – California has been a liberal state for a long time. Even when the governor was a Republican, the legislature was still largely left-leaning. Now Democrats are losing some support in their most reliable state, leaving an opportunity open for the GOP.

A recent decision to oust three school board members in San Francisco shows how the leftist city is turning against ultra-progressives. The board members lost their positions after spending millions of dollars renaming schools (including one named after President Abraham Lincoln), keeping the schools closed for more than a year and making other poor decisions. More than 70% of voters supported the removal of the members.

After the vote, some politicians wondered if the left was losing its grip on the city. The radical ideologies of the school board members were actively hurting children. In one case, the board members voted to stop accepting kids in the best academic programs in the city based on merits. It was the worst of the left’s policies and showed America what it would be like if those people were in charge everywhere. Even Democrat voters couldn’t handle it.

Antonio Amador, a Latino California voter, told Newsmax many of the people who rose up against the school system were groups like Hispanics and Asians that traditionally voted for Democrats. However, he believes they’re now coming to realize their values align more with the Republican Party “and Democrats are panicking because of that,” he said.

If Republicans build on the momentum, they might be able to pull California out of the grips of the Democratic Party eventually.

San Francisco Closes Burger Joint For Refusing To Comply With Vaccine Mandate

“Show me your papers” is a phrase you might expect to hear in Communist China or Russia. But it’s happening right now in California, where San Francisco’s Department of Health closed a burger joint for refusing to comply with the state’s vaccine mandate. Right now, residents are forced to show their vaccine papers or be excluded from necessary parts of society like bars, restaurants, or movie theaters.

On Thursday, the city closed an In-N-Out Burger for serving customers who didn’t have the right documentation on them. The company’s chief legal and business officer Arnie Wensinger says in a statement:

“On Thursday, October 14, the San Francisco Department of Public Health closed our restaurant at 333 Jefferson Street because In-N-Out Burger Associates (employees) were not preventing the entry of Customers who were not carrying proper vaccination documentation.

“Our store properly and clearly posted signage to communicate local vaccination requirements. After closing our restaurant, local regulators informed us that our restaurant Associates must actively intervene by demanding proof of vaccination and photo identification from every Customer, then act as enforcement personnel by barring entry for any Customers without the proper documentation.”

“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” Wensinger says, calling the city’s attempt to “Seregate customers” through this “unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe” policy.

San Francisco is the first major city to adopt these totalitarian measures intended to shame and torment those who choose to make their own decisions where they and their families’ health are concerned.

Fortunately, this policy has not yet caught on — but with Joe Biden tossing around vaccine and mask mandates and Blue states leaning toward this sort of tyranny, we can expect to see more of it. How many more lives and businesses must be ruined because of the Left’s overreaction to this virus?

A Los Angeles school district is forcing kids to undergo weekly COVID testing as Coronamania once again sweeps the nation. As you know, Washington is now arresting people who dare step inside the Capitol or White House without a mask. State and healthcare workers in California are being forced to get vaccinated or lose their jobs. This could extend to other businesses. Now, the Los Angeles Unified School District will require weekly testing for both students and staff regardless of vaccination status.

Democrat darling Dr. Anthony Fauci says that mask mandates may make a comeback nationwide. While some states have taken steps to protect Americans, many — especially Blue states — remain vulnerable to government overreach. California is one of those states.

California ABC affiliate KABC reports that the Los Angeles Unified School District announced Thursday that al students and staff are required to undergo inconvenient and humiliating rounds of testing if they want to step foot in the building — regardless of their individual vaccination status:

In a policy shift, the Los Angeles Unified School District on Thursday announced it will require all students and district employees returning to in-person activities for the upcoming academic year to undergo “baseline and ongoing weekly COVID-testing,” regardless of their vaccination status.

The district had previously required such testing only for those who are unvaccinated.

“This is in accordance with the most recent guidance from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health,” LAUSD Interim Superintendent Megan K. Reilly wrote in a message to the district community. “Baseline testing begins on Monday, August 2.”

Current vaccinations provide adequate protection against COVID-19 and the new Delta variant, which is sweeping through Democrat-run California. While they don’t keep people from getting sick entirely, they do prevent them from becoming seriously ill or dying from the illness. So it’s strange that vaccinated people would have to be tested.

“Los Angeles Unified continues to collaborate with our health partners at the county and state levels, as well as our panel of medical experts and university partners and we review updates to county, state, and federal guidance on a daily basis,” Reilly says, apparently unaware that medical experts say vaccinations provide enough protection and that testing everyone is a waste of time and resources.

But this isn’t about safety. It’s about conditioning Americans to accept being poked, jabbed, and swabbed whenever the government wants.

This California Restaurant Is Bravely Defying COVID-19 Mandates

California is often known as a liberal haven, but one restaurant is taking the bravest stand against unconstitutional and ridiculous COVID-related mandates. As most of the country — especially in Blue states — cowered in fear, Burbank, California’s Tinhorn Flats refused to force people to run scared.

In every state, Americans are forced to wear masks indoors, stay six feet apart, and eat outside. But at one point in California, restaurants couldn’t even offer outdoor dining. The severity of the lockdowns vary state-to-state, but all cases share one thing in common: they are devastating to businesses.

Tinhorn Flats refused to comply with the County of Los Angeles’ ridiculous ban on outdoor dining, racking up 124 complaints during the month of December and receiving a cease and desist letter from the county in January. Through February, the health department handed the restaurant 38 citations, and Los Angeles County sued them for violating emergency health orders and county codes and — inexplicably — acting as a public nuisance. Despite all this, the restaurant vows to continue serving the community:

The owners of the restaurant minced no words when describing the city council as “pathetic losers” and a “vicious mob with pitchforks coming for that who stands against their campaign of fear.”

“I WILL NOT COMPLY AND I WILL NOT CLOSE MY BUSINESS TO THESE PATHETIC, UNAMERICAN SOCIALIST COWARDS,” a post condemning the actions of the city council says. “If need be, I will go down with my ship..”

The ban on outdoor dining was lifted in January. Despite this, the county is continuing its witch hunt. It’s time for Americans to wake up and realize that we can’t live in fear. If Dr. Fauci is right and this virus isn’t going away anytime soon, we need to adjust to living with it — not hiding from it.
