Mayor Lori Lightfoot Has Meltdown…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Chicago’s Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot has suffered a meltdown after Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent a busload of migrants from the Souther Border to her so-called “sanctuary city.”

Gov. Abbott announced Thursday that the first group of migrants has been bused to Chicago, Illinois from Texas.

Abbott has already sent several buses of migrants to New York City and Washington D.C., which also claim to be “sanctuary cities” despite not being directly impacted by the border crisis.

The migrants were dropped off at Union Station last night.

Abbott says that in addition to D.C. and NYC, Chicago will now be a drop-off location for the busing strategy.

The move is part of his strategy to hold Democrat President Joe Biden to account for his open border policies.

“President Biden’s inaction at our southern border continues putting the lives of Texans—and Americans—at risk and is overwhelming our communities,” Abbott said.

“To continue providing much-needed relief to our small, overrun border towns, Chicago will join fellow sanctuary cities Washington, D.C., and New York City as an additional drop-off location.

“Mayor Lightfoot loves to tout the responsibility of her city to welcome all regardless of legal status, and I look forward to seeing this responsibility in action as these migrants receive resources from a sanctuary city with the capacity to serve them.”

“In April, Governor Abbott directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to charter buses to transport migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C. Earlier this month, the Governor added New York City as a second drop-off location.

“Since beginning this busing strategy in the spring, thousands of migrants have been transported to these sanctuary cities while providing much-needed relief to Texas’ overwhelmed border communities.

“With its “Welcoming City Ordinance” making it a sanctuary city, Chicago will not deny city services to individuals based on their immigration status.

“The city also does not require local police to cooperate with federal immigration authorities,” the statement said.

In response, the mayor, who recently refused to do interviews with white reporters, called Abbott a “racist.”

Lightfoot’s deputy director of communications, Ryan Johnson, said in a statement:

“As a city, we are doing everything we can to ensure these immigrants and their families can receive shelter, food, and most importantly protection.

“This is not new; Chicago welcomes hundreds of migrants every year to our city and provides much-needed assistance.

“Unfortunately, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is without any shame or humanity.

“But ever since he put these racist practices of expulsion in place, we have been working with our community partners to ready the city to receive these individuals.

“Chicago is a welcoming city and as such has collaborated across various departments and agencies to ensure we greeted them with dignity and respect.

“As a city, we are doing everything we can to ensure these immigrants and their families can receive shelter, food, and most importantly protection,” he said.

“We know that racism, discrimination, and human cruelty have played a pivotal role in how immigrants are received within our borders, and we are still working to recover from the previous presidential administration, which encouraged this behavior.”

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick Gives Warning To Blue Cities…

Dan Patrick (R) claimed the state’s plan to bus illegal immigrants to liberal cities like New York is not political, and the Lone Star State will keep doing so until the Biden administration makes an effort to address the border crisis, during an interview with Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” on Monday.

“First of all, this is all voluntary. We’re not forcing anyone to get on the bus. Secondly, that’s part of the agreement. You’re going to the destination. And this is not political, Bill. If it’s political, it’s from the mayor who said he’s going to send door knockers to Texas for the November election to help Democrats. That’s the person who’s made it political.” Patrick explained.

“And by the way, Mayor, don’t threaten Texas. And also, he may spike the Republican turnout so much with that rhetoric — that he’s sending New Yorkers to Texas — that the Republicans might send him an award after we blow them out in November. But that’s the politics of it. They turned it into politics. This is a disaster.”When asked what Texas had to prove, Patrick replied that the Biden Administration needs to address the crisis at the nation’s Southern Border.

“Well, first of all, every mayor of a big blue city, which are most of the top 25 in the country, should be on notice,” he proclaimed. “Look out your window, you might see a bus coming to you one day in the future, and the buses are going to keep coming.” While Patrick admitted he hadn’t heard of any liberal mayors contacting the White House, he still took time to highlight the extent of the problem. “We’ve had now 400,000 people in the Del Rio sector in the last year. The population of that town is 36,000. That’s more than ten times the population,” he added. “It would be like us sending 80 million to New York. We’re desperate, Bill, we gotta make this a story — and no one else is covering it but you Fox News. And so, if we can put pressure on all these Democrat mayors around the country, maybe they’ll pick up the phone and call Joe Biden and say the border is not secure.” America needs to put pressure on the Biden Administration to address this pressing problem, before the future of the country is caught up in this mess.

Arizona Gov. Decides Action Needs To Be Taken…

(RepublicanWire.org) – Arizona officials have decided that they are done waiting on the federal government to fill the gaps left in the unfinished border wall. On Friday, Arizona started placing shipping containers to block off the three remaining gaps along the border in Yuma.

“The federal government has committed to doing this, but we cannot wait for their action,” said Katie Ratlief, Governor Doug Ducey’s deputy chief of staff.

To block off the remaining border sections, Arizona is using shipping containers stacked on top of one another. The containers are 60 feet wide and 9 feet high. At the top of the containers, officials plan to place razor wire, Ratlief reported.

On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security declared that former President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy would be coming to an end. The policy required illegal immigrants to remain in Mexico while waiting for their hearing dates in the United States.

In 2018, when the policy was announced, former Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen M. Nielsen said the program would help regain control of the illegal immigration crisis. “Aliens trying to game the system to get into our country illegally will no longer be able to disappear into the United States, where many skip their court dates. Instead, they will wait for an immigration court decision while they are in Mexico. ‘Catch and release’ will be replaced with ‘catch and return.’”

The Biden administration’s DHS stated that the policy would be terminated this week because it “has endemic flaws, imposes unjustifiable human costs, and pulls resources and personnel away from other priority efforts to secure our border.”

Annie Foster, Ducey’s top lawyer, stated that the program was not correctly implemented, and thousands of migrants never returned to Mexico. She stated, “Bottom line is that the federal government has a duty to protect the states — that’s part of the contract, that’s part of the constitution. They failed to do that.”

The end to the policy prompted Arizona officials to act. Ducey plans to use the remaining $6 million left over from the canceled program to add virtual and physical fencing to the border gaps.

The state does not currently have permission from the federal government to block off the wall. However, officials believe the remaining 3,000 feet can be filled within days.

Foster said, “At this point, we are closing that gap and we’ll figure out the consequences as we move forward.”

In late July, the Biden administration authorized the completion of the border wall near Yuma. The administration cited that filling the gaps would protect immigrants from injuring themselves by slipping down a slope or drowning in the river.

Arizona officials reported that they had not seen any attempts made by the federal government to move forward on the promised plans to close the gaps.

Terrorist Have Been Let Into Our Country…

(RepublicanWire.org) – U.S. Border Patrol allowed a suspected terrorist, who was released after crossing the southern border, to remain in the country for nearly two weeks before authorizing his arrest.

The individual in question was Isnardo Garcia-Amado, 35-year-old citizen of Colombia, who crossed into the U.S. on April 18th near Yuma, Arizona, Fox News reported. After crossing the border, per normal protocol, he was registered with U.S. Border Patrol, given a GPS tracking band, and released into the country with a date for a hearing before an immigration judge.

Three days later, the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center flagged Garcia-Amado’s name after reviewing entry logs by U.S. Border Patrol. They determined that he was a match to an entry on the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB), the United States’ central database for listed terrorists. As of 2017, the TSDB contains the names of over 1.1 million persons, whose terrorist ties have not been updated. Under 5,000 U.S. citizens are also on the list.

Though the FBI flagged Garcia-Amado’s name on that date, April 21st, ICE did not receive authorization to arrest him until May 4th, a full 13 days after he had entered the U.S. He was found less than 48 hours later, in Pinellas Country, Fla., on May 6th. He is presently in ICE custody, awaiting deportation to Colombia.

In response to questions about the competence of U.S. Border Patrol for letting a terrorist into the country, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman told Fox News that “DHS is focused on those who pose a threat to our national security, public safety, and border security.”

El Salvador President’s Brutal Tweet About Biden…

(RepublicanWire) – The US border is a total nightmare. Joe Biden is spending all his time worried about Ukraine’s border, the American people are wondering when will he visit ours? He’s made a mess of it but has never once visited.

Other countries are also showing concerns about Biden’s policies, when it comes to the border.

The President of El Salvador called out the border crisis caused by Biden. He responded to a tweet from Biden’s State Dept. spokesman Ned Price and humiliated Biden and his entire team.

Here’s what Ned Price said in his tweet: “The U.S. government continues to support El Salvador in its efforts to reduce the proliferation of gangs. We urge El Salvador to protect its citizens while also upholding civil liberties, including freedom of the press.”

Here’s what President Bukele said in response: “The U.S. government continues to support El Salvador to reduce the proliferation of gangs”. Really? Yes, we got support from the U.S. government to fight crime, but the was UNDER THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION. You are only supporting the gangs and their “civil liberties” now.”

President Nayib Bukele slammed Biden’s State Department when they tried to declare how much they’ve helped his country.

President Bukele fired back at Ned Price by telling him the only time his government received any “American help” to fight crime was under President Trump. He then said Joe Biden has sided with the gangsters.

It’s been a mess in El Salvador, crime is soaring there, too, just like in our liberal-run cities and it’s gotten so much worse for them since President Trump was removed from office.

Breitbart reported that El Salvador’s security forces arrested over 9,000 people over the past two weeks, using emergency powers granted by the legislature to control organized crime following a wave of gang killings. Critics of the crackdown claim many of the arrests were arbitrary and targeted impoverished young people. They also criticized the harsh conditions imposed on the detainees.

Bukele insisted the arrests were appropriate – describing the 9,000 taken into custody so far as merely a good start – and said the rough detentions were a necessary deterrent. He argued gang members are far too accustomed to skipping out of prison quickly, so they view arrest as a minor inconvenience.

“We have confiscated everything, even the sleeping mats. We are rationing food and they will no longer see the sun. Stop the killings now,” he said.

On Tuesday, Bukele said the total number of arrests was up to 10,094.

Biden’s Administration- Still Unable To Solve Border Crisis

(RepublicanWire.org) – Customs and Border Protection released new statistics, and these new statistics  show a significant increase in border encounters. The numbers increased by nearly 10,000 more in November than October. Even more shocking, is that these encounters have gone up 130% in October and 140% in November from just last year!

The numbers indicate that President Biden’s administration still has been unable to find a solution for the border crisis which hit historic levels in fiscal year 2021. The number of encounters was 1.7 million from January to September.

The Biden administration has come under fire for its handling of the recent migrant surge that’s overwhelmed communities and officials. The root cause, according to them? There is violence and corruption in Central America. Republicans have blamed the administration’s policies. When Biden removed the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy, it was a sign to the world that our borders were open. 

To make matters worse, Chris Magnus was recently confirmed as CBP commissioner. Border agents were upset by Magnus’ Senate confirmation earlier this month.

One agent had this to say about Magnus, “He is pretty much hated, especially by those of us in the Tucson Sector since we know him.” The agent went on to say, “Somehow he has made a career off of hating law enforcement. He destroyed TPD [Tucson Police Department] and will do the same to CBP as a whole.” 

Magnus, who has previously supported sanctuary cities, sounded a positive note about the November numbers.

Magnus said, “CBP’s November Monthly Operational Update reflects an incredible amount of work on behalf of the American people to keep dangerous drugs and products out of our communities, to facilitate travel and billions of dollars in trade, and to maintain security along our borders.”

Magnus continued with, “It’s an honor to lead a workforce whose mission is so vital to our economic health and national security. CBP’s vigilance is key to disrupting smugglers and transnational criminal organizations as they exploit vulnerable populations and attempt to traffic illegal and dangerous products.”

It is still too early to tell if Magnus will be able to make a significant difference in the border crisis, but for now it isn’t looking too good.The new statistics are shocking!

AZ Sheriff: Biden’s Border Crisis Is ‘An Epidemic’

Joe Biden’s border crisis has increased crime in border crossing areas, the spread of COVID from infected illegals flooding across the border, and numerous other problems. Cartels are increasing human and drug trafficking operations and operating in broad daylight. The situation is worse than many wish to admit — but one Arizona sheriff has spoken out about the issue, calling Joe Biden’s border crisis “an epidemic.”

During an appearance on Fox and Friends, Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels explained how much damage Biden is doing to the country.

“It should be a concern to every American. Right now in this country, we had over 200,000 getaways,” Dannels says. “What that means is they’ve been seen on federal cameras but were not captured.”

“And that’s what’s being seen. 200,000 in my sector of the state, my region of the state over 60,000. And then you look at every day on the southwest border, 1,100 getaways are coming into our country every day,” he says. “We have no idea who they are. They’re camouflaged. They’re smuggled by the cartels and released in communities. That is a public safety national security threat.” But he didn’t stop there. He says that Biden’s created an “epidemic” by leaving the border wide open:

I think every elected leader should pay a political price on this issue. The fact is, we take an oath of office and that is to safeguard the quality of life Americans expect and to protect all Americans. And we’re not doing that right now on the southwest border. It’s the largest crime scene, I’ve said that numerous times, that when it comes to public safety, national security, in my county, nobody has walked up to me and said, ‘Sheriff, the border thing’s good.’ Nobody’s said that… I mean, it is an epidemic in my state that we have a border that’s not secure.

The problems at the border won’t be fixed overnight — or by this administration. That’s why it’s important for us to retake Congress in 2022 and to win the White House in 2024.

CRISIS: Southern Border Apprehensions Up 800% Over Last Year

Our southern border is a mess. How bad is it? Ever since, Joe Biden took office, we know there has been a massive spike in illegals crossing the border. We also know that criminal activity at crossing points has jumped and that illegals credit Biden as being the reason they have taken over. It’s a true crisis down there, with border apprehensions up 800% over this time last year.

American Military News reports that the number of illegals caught crossing the border has spiked — and that’s even with Joe Biden’s lax enforcement:

It was a familiar scene. Newly released data show that migrants were stopped 180,034 times across the southern border last month — nearly eight times the total during May 2020 and among the highest monthly totals in recent years.

That brought total apprehensions for the year to 711,784, nearly five times the total during the same period last year, though direct comparisons are difficult because of a policy implemented early in the COVID-19 pandemic that dramatically increased the number of people who have been caught multiple times.

In the Rio Grande Valley, numbers are even higher:

In the Rio Grande Valley, where there were 50,793 apprehensions last month — up from 3,698 in May  2020 —  Border Patrol agents respond to about one fatality a week.

Biden’s lax enforcement is empowering drug cartels and sex traffickers, as well as increasing the risk of the spread of COVID-19 in communities surrounding common crossing points. It’s unclear why he would do this — but it seems to be simply to spite Donald Trump, whose policies controlled the border.

If Biden keeps doing what he’s doing, we’re not going to have much of a country left when 2024 hits. Be sure to vote in great numbers in the midterm elections. They’re perhaps more important at this point than anything else. If we take Congress, we can block Biden’s evil and irresponsible plans for America.
