After a couple generations of Democrats using schools to indoctrinate students, it’s happened: only 35 percent of young Americans say they are proud to be Americans. This information comes from a new Issues & Insights/TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics survey, which found that young adults are the only demographic that hates America at this level.
The results of the survey are depressing. Only 36 percent of respondents aged 18 to 24 say they are proud or extremely proud to be an American. In addition, 35 percent say they are only slightly proud or not proud at all to be an American. Both of these numbers are bad because they indicate that the latest adult generation has been taught that America is evil.
These numbers are startling when compared to other Americans. In the age 65+ group, 86 percent say they are proud to be an American. But we can see a decline in younger generations. In the 45-64 group, only 75 percent say they are proud to be an American. And in the 25-44-year-old group, 59 percent say they are proud to be an American. Overall, a dismal 68 percent tout their American pride.
But there is hope. Only 6 percent say they are “not proud at all” and only 8 percent say they are “slightly proud” overall. This means that there is hope to fix the problem. Shockingly, 75 percent of college graduates say they are extremely/very proud to be Americans despite universities functioning as indoctrination centers.
The poll found that conservatives are more proud to be Americans than others, with 86 percent answering in the affirmative. Moderates came in second at 66 percent, with barely more than half (55 percent) saying they are proud.
We can expect these numbers to get worse with the teaching of Critical Race Theory and other leftist ideologies in schools. Fortunately, many are taking steps to weed these dangerous theories out of schools.
