Joe Biden has left his border crisis to fester ever since he ignored every piece of advice and started letting illegals basically walk across the border unchallenged near the beginning of his term. Now, he has no idea what to do as the problem has gotten so bad that he’s been forced to admit that President Trump was right. The problem is so bad, in fact, that Mexico demands that Biden deal with his border disaster.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador asked Biden on Wednesday to do something to handle the constant stream of illegals pouring into the United States. At the moment, dozens of thousands are flooding into Mexico, hoping to use it as a waypoint to enter the United States. Now, Biden’s crisis is expanding to our southern neighbor.
“Enough talking, it’s time to act,” Lopez Obrador says, reminding a crowd of reporters that Biden is shirking his obligations. Newsmax reports:
Mexico and Central American countries were still waiting for several billion dollars pledged by Washington for economic development to reduce the need for migrants to flee poverty, he said.
“There was a commitment that they were going to invest four billion — two billion for Central America and two billion for Mexico. Nothing has come — nothing,” Lopez Obrador said.
At the same time he added that US President Joe Biden “is interested” in solving the problem and said he was hopeful there would be a regional agreement on economic development.
“I think there will be results,” he said.
But so far, there haven’t been results. At the moment, Biden is using Title 42, which he has previously criticized, to deport a mob of around 14,000 illegals camping under a bridge on the border. “Many people dream of going to the United States and now they’re deporting everyone,” one member of the mob says. Biden had previously promised to only deport dangerous felons in his first 100 days.
The time to act was months ago. In fact, Biden could have handled the border more responsibly had he done nothing and allowed the security President Trump set up to remain intact.
