You know the cop that has been delighting everyone with his viral Lebron James video? Well, liberals tried to get him fired. While they ultimately got him suspended for the hilarious video, which was a response to James’ attacks on a small business for refusing to show NBA games, Bellevue, Idaho cop Nate Silvester had the last laugh.
“I never expected my tiktok to go viral the way it did. However, when it started gaining traction I anticipated that some would come out in opposition and there would be some blow back,” Silvester says. He was suspended for a week without pay. But his best friend stepped in and started a GoFundMe to raise funds to cover lost income.
“Hey all, please SHARE SHARE SHARE this with all your friends, and contribute what you can. I hate to see Nate lose out on any money because of his comical genius!” the friend writes.
The video features the officer mocking LeBron, who recently criticized a heroic cop who stopped a knife-wielding would-be murderer from killing people. But because she was black, the cop was allegedly racist because that’s how it works these days.
The GoFundMe was an instant success and has raised nearly $100,000 at the time of writing. Nate says he plans to donate a portion of the money to The First Responders Children’s Foundation, a charity for the families of fallen officers and first responders.
Nate is in good spirits and says his colleagues support him. “My immediate supervisors and coworkers have been supportive but have also tried to stay neutral so as not to put their jobs at risk — which is very understandable,” he says. “They are great officers and incredible human beings.”
Asked if liberal harassment and suspension will stop him from making videos, which he does in an attempt to humanize police officers, Nate says he won’t be stopped:
“Yes I am! This has become much bigger than I could have expected,” he said. “I have a following of amazing people who have shown their overwhelming support for me and law enforcement in general. We need to keep this momentum going! There are so many good men and women in law enforcement who are doing a tough job everyday. During such an uncertain time for us I want them to experience the same love and support I’ve been shown these last few days. Their lives matter!”
