Kyle Rittenhouse began Friday facing a life sentence for employing self-defense to protect himself from an angry mob at one of the many BLM riots last summer in Kenosa, Wisconsin. Now, liberals are throwing a tantrum after Rittenhouse was found not guilty by a jury of his peers.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better jury to work with and it has truly been my pleasure,” said Judge Bruce Schroeder said after delivering the verdict. “I think, without commenting on your verdict, the verdicts themselves, just in terms of your attentiveness and the cooperation that you gave to us, justifies the confidence that the founders of our country placed in you so I dismiss you at this time.”
“I believe they were cerebral and they thought about every piece of the jury instructions,” says a Rittenhouse spokesman, who adds that it’s “clear as day” that Rittenhouse acted in self defense when he was rushed by members of the angry mob of leftists. “So, justice was done for Kyle. He gets to live life as a free young man.”
Ritten house was forced to fatally shoot two people and injure a third when rioters attacked him from behind, proving once again that firearms protect those who carry them if they are trained in their use and smart about when to use them. The ACLU, naturally, is furious, calling Rittenhouse’s exoneration “an outrageous failure to protect protesters by the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office.”
“Today, I pray for the victims, I pray for our country, I pray for our children and grandchildren, and I pray that this travesty of a case is an outlier on our path to a more just system, and not a signal of retreat backwards,” says civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who called Rittenhouse “a racist, homicidal vigilante who, like so many white men before him, not only escaped accountability, but laughed in its face.”
The Left is not happy. In fact, everyone from NYC mayor Bill de Blasio to far-Left grifter Shaun King had something to say:
Make no mistake: Rittenhouse is a hero. He faced down an angry mob at the age of 17 and defended himself when the mob attacked him. There’s no other way to see the situation and it’s good that the jury recognized this.
