BLM is still running amok in Atlanta and across the country. But the racist terrorist group made headlines on Sunday when a violent mob surrounded a white police officer who was only trying to respond to a shooting. The shooting, which happened at a Chevron station, left two people injured. But when officers arrived trying to do their jobs, BLM went full BLM.
According to WSBTV, one of the victims was arguing with the shooter when he opened fire, injuring two people. One victim fled to a nearby restaurant and, fortunately, both are in stable condition. Police did their jobs admirably, but a racist mob was caught on video surrounding one of the cops and hurling racist slurs at him.
The Atlanta Police Department is, like many across the country, facing staffing shortages as police retire or find other vocations in protest of the way they are allowed to be treated by Black Lives Matter terrorists.
“It was just a lot of stress and some people were like, ‘You know I’d rather do something else,’” Captain Antonio Clay says. The department is actively working to recruit more, but that is proving to be a difficult venture.
“APD currently has 1632 officers according to its latest filled vacancy report. That’s about 400 officers short of the department’s ‘authorized strength’ of more than 2,000,” an April CBS report noted.
The person who opened fire at the Chevron station has been arrested, but police are refusing to release his identity at this time. The reason why was not explained. But this officer did nothing wrong. He just had the misfortune of having white skin when the mob decided to strike.
