Cuomo Demands Businesses Ban Unvaccinated Americans

Recently, the Biden Administration announced that anyone who didn’t wear a mask in the halls of Congress or in the White House would be subject to arrest. California issued vaccine mandates for state employees and healthcare workers, threatening people’s jobs if they made the personal choice not to get the COVID jab. These aren’t isolated incidents and are indicative of what is to come for the entire country if Democrats have their way. Now, New York Governor Cuomo — yes, that Cuomo — is demanding that private businesses require a vaccination card for entry, effectively banning unvaccinated Americans from the premises.

You may remember Cuomo’s recent scandal involving himself, COVID, and the elderly. Cuomo verifiably forced nursing homes and long-term care facilities to accept COVID-positive patients, resulting in the murder of numerous elderly patients. Now, ironically, this merchant of death is trying to “save lives” by asking private businesses to switch to “vaccine-only” admission.

While he hasn’t switched back to an official mandate like he did with masks, perhaps considering the legal ramifications of forcing people to get vaccinated to be able to go to the grocery store, Cuomo has asked private businesses to ban anyone who hasn’t gotten the jab from their establishment. CNBC reports:

“I am asking them, and suggesting to them, go to vaccine-only admission,” he told reporters, referring to private businesses. “I believe it is in your best interest.”

Infectious disease experts and public health officials fear Covid cases — fueled by the delta variant — could continue to surge into the fall season, when Americans head back indoors and employers begin to bring workers back to the office.

In an attempt to slow the spread of the virus, some businesses are asking customers and their employees to show proof of vaccination. On Friday, Disney said it is requiring all salaried and non-union hourly employees in the U.S. to be fully vaccinated against Covid by the end of September.

Radio City Music Hall “did this months ago,” Cuomo said Monday. “Reopened. Vaccine only. Sold out all of the shows.”

Cuomo’s comments came the same day he announced a vaccine mandate for employees of the state’s MTA and Port Authority, giving transportation workers the option to get vaccinated by Labor Day or face weekly coronavirus testing. The mandate is similar to an order Cuomo issued for state hospital employees last week in response to the surging delta variant.

This suggestion that businesses use a “vaccine passport” policy in a state that does not provide them is ridiculous on its face — especially coming from someone who ordered nursing homes to accept known COVID-positive patients. This effectively makes businesses responsible for policing vaccination status rather than the government — and all businesses want to do is sell products and services. This should not be the responsibility of private enterprises in any case. Watch Cuomo vomit out this stupidity below:
