The Biden Administration’s weakness on the border is putting lives at risk. At the moment, thousands a day are dying of COVID-19 under his failed leadership. A total of 108 illegal immigrants who were tested for the Coronavirus at the Texas border facility in Brownsville tested positive — and were released anyway.

According to a spokesperson for the facility, about 6.3 percent tested positive for the virus. While these individuals were advised to quarantine and follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, they really don’t have to. In fact, under the Biden administration, they don’t have the power to actually stop these migrants from going wherever they want and doing whatever they please. And Fox News reports that this is exactly what is happening:

Sources at the White House told Fox News on Wednesday it is aware of instances where individuals may continue to travel despite testing positive and being told to quarantine — yet the federal guidance remains for them to isolate.

The sources said the coronavirus testing near the border is being handled by state and local governments in conjunction with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Migrants who have tested positive plan to travel to Houston, Maryland, New Jersey, and other locations, according to Fox. NBC News says that while some do wait out their recommended quarantine, others plan to ignore the test results and infect others:

Several of the asylum-seekers who tested positive told Noticias Telemundo Investiga they were planning to leave Brownsville for their destinations; one of them bought a bus ticket for the journey.

Migrants are typically released with an ankle monitor or permit, but nothing is being done to stop those who test positive from hurting American citizens. This is irresponsible at best, and the Biden Administration must be made to answer for it.
